Nah.
This game runs HORRIBLY on a 3090. With Ultra settings 1440p, 20-35 FPS. and Low Settings 35-50 fps. The Gameplay is Bland. Its not fun or Anything. The Level Design is also Horrible. I do not recommend this game.
After recent update character no longer moves, mouse pan only.

Something's wrong with the optimization, or the game engine, or something . No matter what resolution or graphics settings I can only get ~25fps@~40ms I've run into this issue before with Unity and UE4 games, not sure if they have issues with GTX 900 cards, or FX processors, or what.

Before I delve into this game, I must point out that I'm pretty good friends with one of the people that worked on it. This game is pretty mediocre in most aspects, but considering the time that was spent in development combined with the fact that it was a project put together by fresh college students, I cannot hold this against the game whatsoever. No one's first attempt at something comes out perfect, especially when it comes to video games. I respect what the developers were trying to do with this game and if they had more time to work on it, they probably could have made something pretty alright. The combat is pretty lackluster, I'm indifferent at best to the level design, and the enemy AI is very barebones. I won't even get into the story of the game, because I feel like it was slapped on at the last minute (the voice acting also leaves a lot to be desired). However, the one thing that I really, really loved about this game was the main concept that it's based around: the ability to steal the bodies of your enemies. I ended up enjoying this mechanic (for all the wrong reasons, mind you) because the developers didn't know how to balance it. But, being able to really push the game and break it using its core mechanic allows you to turn Synthesis into something of a speed game while also allowing you to appreciate what the developers were trying to do. Again, it seems like I'm being harsh, but I give this game a lot of leeway considering the time that went into making it, the overall experience and background of the developers, and the fact that it's their first game ever made.
