Symploke: Legend of Gustavo Bueno (Chapter 1)

Un juego muy original y con su puntito cachondo, con el estilo de los tebeos de Mortadelo y El jueves de toda la vida. ¡Totalmente recomendable para pasar un buen rato al aparato!

Garbage. - Unskippable starting credits - Game uses 1/4 of the screen - No access to options before new game started - No option to hush the music without hushing the talking - But you can do the opposite! - No time to read texts - Dialogue answers displayed without their question - Annoying pre-Pn'C UI from the 80s That's what I could instantly notice, and that will be enough for me. Some devs clearly can't be bothered. It's free, yet these people have the crust to sell 2 more episodes. Yep, for money.

This is symple: symploké legend of Gustavo Bueno is a really fun point and click adventure with a great spanish flavor and lots of in jokes that will make the day to all of you who have spend at least a few months in a public University! Very recomended for the classic Sierra aventure lover. And the good news don't stop there, as there's also a second narrative layer where some phylosophical issues plays an important role in the game subtext. I had a great time bein in the soul of Benito -the game main character- interacting with an interesting bunch of memorable npc all around. Nice graphics, excelent dialog (both in english and spanish) and well designed. The first chapter is free for play and I'd absolutely recommend to buy the second chapter. Kudos to the developpers! Great adventure set in the sometimes hard to understand milieu of Spanish non-STEM universities. If you like ironic antiheroes you'll enjoy playing this classic.

En mi caso, nunca había tratado con un videojuego del género Point & Click sin embargo, debo agradecer a Videojuegos Fermín haberme dado la posibilidad de desflorarme con 'Symploké'. El par de horas que invertí con sumo gusto en la primera entrega me cautivaron hasta el punto de necesitar adquirir los dos episodios siguientes, ya no sólo por el mero hecho de querer saber cómo seguiría la historia, sino porque la gran dosis de entretenimiento que ofrece el juego, equiparable a la que, seguramente, se fuma uno de sus personajes, hace que merezca la pena jugarlo. Una trama con referencias filosóficas; personajes inimitables y españoles (esto es importante); voces originales e incluso con acentos; un rompecabezas complicado que reta a cualquier jugador y una representación del entramado universitario que sucumbe a las leyes posmodernas, decorando sus pasillos con perroflautas y pancartas con mensajes políticos. Poco más se puede pedir

Primero, debo de decir que estoy genuina mente impresionado. No soy Español; por lo que no tenía idea el alcance de la filosofía del señor Bueno en España, pensé que era más bien algo de culto y que los profesores y alumnos y alguna gente de hispanoamérica conocía el materialismo filosófico solamente. Por eso no esperaba un juego. El humor también es muy sutil, y me gusta la mezcla de la estética de los comics antiguos como Mortadeo y Filemón. También la crítica a las universidades españolas no esta demás. ¡Excelente juego!
