The game is absolutely worth its cost and you can absolutely get some replay value with all the customizable settings for a new save. You can make it very hard to find loot, very easy to find building supplies, perma-death, and the list goes on and on with any number of combinations. The systems of the game are very basic, but they are functional, and always are able to be improved, flushed out, or expanded on. I find myself always coming back for more, even after I've played through the game already. It's always worth coming back to and always refreshing once you start a new save or continue where you left off.
