Great 2D platformer with slick graphics, good music and a slightly funny narrative. Games like these remind me of the old NES and SNES days when games were really challenging. Super Robot Jump Jump is super hard especially if you want to collect all achievements. Can be quite frustrating repeating levels all the time but reloading is fast and levels aren't particularly long. Well recommended. 8/10. EDIT: After many hours and deaths I have finally beaten both The Desert and The Volcano with all cogs and speed stars. Then comes "The Space" with it's ridiculous long and impossible levels! Unfortunately the game has changed from fun and challenging to extremely frustrating and enraging. For this reason I don't recommend the game anymore. EDIT 2: I have decided to come back to this game and complete it. After watching many solution videos and more than 10 hours of extra game play, I finally managed to beat the game. Even though this game has INFURIATED me like no other game, I would still recommend it after all.

I was really hoping somthing good for this game. But, man was I dissapointed. The textures are not very great, the controls are just messed up, and it has a tendancy to crash or freeze when you die or get a acheivment. First, I'll start with controls. It only gives you 4 options (2 for keyboard, and 2 for controller) and you can't change them. Next, where's the mouse? I know in games like Super Hexagon (great game, btw) don't use a mouse, but it's simple. Here, it's very awkward to select things. Plus, you can't even restart! At least the cutscenes are nice, and pretty funny at some times, but God was the game dissapointing.
This game just isn't well-designed. The jumps are way too high and often don't fit the level design/proportions. The levels force you to wait on many occasions; It just doesn't have the flow of games like Super Meat Boy or Never Give Up. Not recommended.
