Stratoskirmish

Stratoskirmish is an industrial war-themed vertically scrolling shoot'em up title. This game offers an action-dense contemporary arcade-style challenge with elements to reward strategic play Featuring colorful, detailed, pre-rendered 2D visuals with dynamic lighting effects.

Players control fighterplanes and engage enemy ground forces. Fighters are equipped with front-facing autoguns which may be upgraded by collecting powerups.
Fighters may also deploy 'Aerotorpedo' special weapons; a group of small, maneuverable, unmanned aircraft. These may be used to provide additional firepower and protection, or may be launched forward as rockets in a high-damage offensive attack to quickly destroy targets.

Players earn points from shooting and destroying enemies. Additional score may be obtained by collecting gold items dropped by some destroyed enemies and/or destroying bossparts. Bonuses are awarded for survival, enemy kills, and gold item collection serving to provide additional scoring opportunities for skilled players.
