Multiplayer is permanently broken since version 4... we play once a week for 2 hours. If you don't get screwed over by a new patch version and people wanting to restart, you get screwed by the game going into a broken state once it's run for too long (rarely even get to endgame without some catastrophe like slowdown or stutter). Every time we think this is going to be one. Every time we end up abandoning due to things breaking... I only have this to play multiplayer, so without that it's a bust for me, can't recommend unless this gets fixed and stays fixed for a change...

Too many broken DLC that costs the same as an entire game each, with at least one including AI assets. More of a platform to sell DLC than a game, just like everything paradox publishes.

I really do like this game, it's a great management game, but I simply do not support their recent usage of AI in any capacity. Also $300 of DLC is absurd.

I preordered this game back all the way in 2016 and have put tens of hundreds of hours into this game, BOUGHT every dlc, and played through just about every event mission in the game. I can say without a doubt that the idea to make every ship cost 5 TIMES the cost is absolutely absurd and no one should play the current version. Whoever thought this was a good way to combat late game lag deserves to get fired and fined for destroying a game that lasted a damn near decade. Paradox get your ♥♥♥♥ in order because your devs have never played a single day of any of your games to balance your ♥♥♥♥.

I liked this game when I bought it, but it is no longer that game. They continually break more and more stuff, reformulate how basic game concepts work, and basically it's just not what I liked anymore.

This game is just a money grab game that breaks after a patch, especially playing with players. They hate modders, and censor about everything possible when this game allows slavery, genocide, and etc. Don't waste your time, I spent over 2000 hours modding, and got banned for creating WWII Germany, while working on other factions. It is now impossible.
