can't recommend a bunch of losers' product anymore

I will not recommend this game or support Paradox Interactive as a publisher. In recent years, I have become increasingly concerned about what I perceive as insensitive and prejudiced treatment of certain nationalities and ethnic groups by Paradox and within its official communities. The incident that particularly affected my opinion involved reports of Turkish users being banned from the official Paradox Discord while using Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of modern Turkey, as their profile picture. From what I have seen, the way these users were treated appeared unfair, discriminatory, and deeply disrespectful toward Turkish players. Atatürk remains an enormously important historical figure for Turkey. His emphasis on peaceful international relations and cooperation also formed an important part of his international legacy. UNESCO commemorated the centenary of his birth in 1981 and recognized his connection with international understanding, cooperation, and peace. In the modern era, I do not believe xenophobia, prejudice, or the singling out of people because of their nationality or cultural identity should be tolerated. This situation has also damaged my trust in Paradox more broadly. Historical games inevitably involve interpretation, representation, and difficult political or cultural subjects. If I feel that a publisher approaches certain communities with prejudice or inconsistent standards, it naturally makes me question how accurately and fairly those cultures, countries, and historical events are represented in its games.
