The deck is a rock solid device, [b]once you install windows on it.[/b] Steam "SD Card Bricker" OS is obviously not the best choice, while linux is an even poorer choice for pc gaming.
If you like messing around with complex 3rd party programs, which are required to get the most basic tasks going, like starting non-steam games, then stick with linux on your deck. However, if you just want to play and not waste your time with unnecessarily complex technical workaround nonsense, do yourself a favor and install the #1 operating system: Windows.
