____________ Positive points: Plot, characters, setting, perfect look of the drawings, interface. I could already tell that I enjoyed it a lot. I want a continuation and I want more games with this wonderful look. Negative points: Does not have Portuguese language, does not have achievements and does not save in the cloud.
please dont fall for the yaoi propaganda, there's way better gay visual novels out there, some are masterpieces, but NOT this one. the writing is terrible, the characters are terrible, there's no plot and they skim through topic and topic like its a speedrun. im all in to support smaller indie developers but at least make it worth your time and your dimes!

Starfighter: Eclipse is a Boys' Love visual novel game set in the same universe as Starfighter comics of the same orientation. Because of that, it's highly advisable to first read the comics, as most of the characters in the game have made their appearance there. The comics are short and completely free on the web, from them, you can also decide if you like this particular setting, and if yes, you are safe to go with the game. We play as Helios (code name, everyone has one), a fighter, who is newly assigned to an Alliance starship Kepler. As he barely connects with his navigator, Selene, they are tasked with exploring an alien derelict ship. A simple recon mission turns bad when a member of another team gets hurt by a short circuit. Everyone pulls off from the derelict to the safety of the Kepler, but before long weird things begin to happen on the ship. Could one of them be a saboteur? Well, that's what Helios has to find out. It's a standard visual novel game with many choices and five romantic/just-for-sex pursuable characters (Cain, Abel, Deimos, Selene, Hayden). The game spans a horizon of four days, so there is no time for usual courting and dating, and most of the time the boys go quickly down to business… if you get my point. ^_^ Only true everlasting happy end can be achieved with Selene as Cain and Abel are the main heroes from the comics and a pair that no one can separate. So even if you end up with one of them (or both) it's only for a brief moment, so enjoy it. ^_^ The story was quite interesting and enjoyable, also it was nice to revisit the Starfighter universe. The game could have been a little bit longer as you can be quickly done with it (there is a skip), but to say the truth getting on Deimos's route was pretty painful. I liked the monochrome graphics with slight hues of other (mainly light blue) colors, in this, the game stays true to the comics. Also even if the graphics are slightly different from that in the comics it's still rather great and most of the CGs are exceptional and very erotic. The music is normal, nothing extra, but the opening and ending themes are pretty awesome and I have enjoyed listening to them very much. There is no voice-acting, but I don't take it as a problem. My only complaint goes to the lack of save slots because, for the number of choices present in the game, it’s just not enough… Also more often than I would like the menu interface stopped working - I couldn't get into the save/load menu, to settings, to the main menu. The only way to make it work again was to restart the game. But even with these little flaws I can recommend it to any lover of BL visual novels, you won't be disappointed. Also, there are no hard fetish practices or non-consensual sex and the mood is overall rather sweet.
Beaucoup trop court !

I wish there was a neutral option right now, but overall I have to put it on the negative side. Doesn't necessarily mean you shouldn't buy it but as a general audience I wouldn't recommend it. Lets begin with that if you havent read Starfighter before this its probably a hard no for you to buy this. You wont get to know the characters deep enough in this game alone that it would feel like a complete experience or game, you need the plot from the comics for this to be enjoyable in a greater way than looking up porn on random characters. If you want to do that, i dont blame you, but then its cheaper and less frustrating ways to do that then getting this game. The plot is overall fine. It is short but i dont hold that against them. Again, there is a comic to go greater into the plot and characters if you wish and i feel that its a breath of fresh air for a visual novel to not be tens of hours. A lot about this game IS good. The soundtrack is nice, nothing wrong about the writing and then of course the selling point, the art. The art is really good, especially the indevidual ones. The black and white theme works and are in line with the comics. The thing is there are bugs that mess with almost all of this. The text loads glitchy, loading times are weirdly long for a visual novel, the music switches tracks adrubtly and from soft and nice music to hard and techno meaning there is no subtleness that it does so either. The facial expressions on the characters sometimes glitches making them have no face at all for a short while, which broke the illusion for me a lot more than i thought it would. The mechanics are poor. The skip button is glitchy and unclear when it works. The backlog doesnt automatically show you the latest dialogue and save slots are limited. Most of these arent mayor flaws but when you keep getting more and different bugs it starts to be very frustrating. My game also shut down randomely two times for no apparent reason. NSFW mention below However. Almost none of these bugs appear in the NSFW elements of the game. They mostly run smooth and is also often where the art is most outstanding. I also apprechiate the different type of NSFW elements that is varied depending not only on which character you pursue but also which ending. The dynamic and type of sex is very varied and it doesnt just feel like i get a remake of the last scene i played but with a differnet character. Should be noted that all of these are still in the vanilla theretory so if youre looking for something very varied or out there this isnt for you. The game has a gallary collection where you can see what characters you have succesfully pursued and if you have dont everything possible on these characters routes. I think it would be easier to navigate eith an actual "butterfly tree" of paths because now i have to keep in my memory which paths i probably havent tried out, and there are a lot of choices. Which is a good thing in this game. With such a short game it would feel very dissapointing with only a few things to differ it but it has maybe about 20/30 choices for each path which i would consider a good amount in this case. Its also rather tricky to try to get the character you might want but i didnt find it impossible at all and most often when i was locked in on one character i managed to be able to pursue the one i had in mind. This is a very big plus on my side because it means, for me, the characters are acting relatively in line with their personalities. You can read and think what they would apprechiate and like without a walkthrough or exesive planning which is how i think it should be, but nonetheless still a bit tricky. I also died about four times before my first route which was something i apprechiated even though i migth have wanted a more drawn out "bad" ending now and then. There is no pure bad ending, only a neutral run and then character options. However there are some hint at the end how well that ending worked out for you, which can differ on the same character as well. Something that made me very pleasently surprised however (spoiler warning) is being able to get both a cain and able ending on the same run. Meaning there are not always one ending for a character, and even joint ones, which i did not expect. Overall the game has good potential but is very buggy. And considering ut was released somewhere around 2015 i doubt it will be fixed. However if you like Starfighter and NSFW content it can be worth to pick up. But i would even then, do like me and pick it up on a 50% off sale.

After playing hustle cats and loving it and its wholesome representation of relationships and consent, I bought this game since it was the only other one made by the same company. And I really I want to like this game, I really, really do. It has great potential, cool ideas, cool concepts of characters, except one big issue (along with many more):
THIS IS NOT STANDALONE AND IT FEELS MASSIVELY INCOMPLETE
Lemme repeat, because this store page does not indicate that:
THIS IS NOT STANDALONE AND IT FEELS MASSIVELY INCOMPLETE
Imagine buying a book, and finding out that it was just 3-4 short chapters (and leaves off unfulfilling) and to get more important information and context, you needed to read through a slog of a comic. This is what this is. There's so much missing context, information on pre-established relationships, etc. that you end up feeling like a total stranger to this game that you bought. And to get the full experience and find out important info and context you can't find out here, you NEED to read the webcomic. I almost envy the people who read the webcomic first because if I had known how bad it was, I wouldn't have gotten this. It feels more like an ad or demo than a standalone product, and I wish there was more on this store page indicating that. I only found out when I googled this game. Every run is around total of 30 minutes to an hour and 80% of it just the same content over and over from previous runs. The only reason why I have 10 hours is because after my first two routes, several times I got bored and ending up doing something else while forgetting I had this running in the background. But if that's all there was, i wouldn't have written a review since I got this insanely cheap while it was on sale. (My friend and I do art trades and this was apart of the deal. At least we both had tons of fun joking about this) The biggest thing I'm salty about is the relationship between two primary characters who are actually the protagonists of the webcomic, so if you want to get context and information that this game fails to provide, good luck dragging yourself between the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that is their glorified, abusive relationship. After learning what I know, I can't be bothered to call the two protags by their names, so let's just call them Lipscar and Edgelord. The writing for Edgelord both in the webcomic and game first felt like it could've been good and I held onto the smallest signs that just maybe it was self aware. He was so blatantly abusive, possessive, stalkerish, violent to Lipscar and anyone who talked to Lipscar--and I really thought that it wouldn't try to glorify it and maybe he'd get consquences for his actions, and those said consequences would be depicted as a good thing. To give you an idea of how toxic this relationship is (and it doesn't get better), the whole reason why Lipscar has well.. a lipscar, is because the first thing Edgelord did once they were alone after being assigned together was assert his dominance by straight up ripping his lip flesh with his mouth and leaving a scar because that's what he does to all the partners he's assigned to apparently. And this is what the webcomic will end up glorifying, so if you had any doubts that Edgelord would get any meaningful consequences for his actions and abuse, don't get your hopes up like I did. He ends up doing worse and grosser. The entire webcomic(which I stayed out of hopes it might get better), he just gets enabled over and over and it tries to present him as sympathetic at points when.. just, no. He is a predator. Many of the things he does to Lipscar can and should be classified as SA. How the hell is this emo bastard abuser a "good guy" and how does he still have his job when he's actively so harmful and everyone knows he's a pos? It reads like a horror story except imagine if the horror monster was depicted like a love interest from a really bad yaoi and you think it's going to be good or self aware because hey the game sorta was promising but it never gets to that point. The entire time I was hoping Lipscar would get to sue their asses and find someone better but Lipscar doesn't get retribution, justice, or even funded therapy. Not to mention a character I liked from this game(Goth dude) ended up helping Edgelord abuse Lipscar in the webcomic, so yay, I guess he's a pos too. Which character you're supposed to like isn't at this point except poor, poor Lipscar. When I got the endings where the (possessed? not really sure what to call it) Lipscar kills Edgelord I was rooting for him full stop, even though it was depicted as a "bad thing" To narrow this all down, I wish that I wish I had known these things before I played this game, as now its tainted what limited enjoyment I felt off of it. The art is great, the adult art is great(writing is poor and the sex scenes come out of nowhere though), the Sci fi horror is fun, and the ideas of some characters would've been cool if it had been handled well and not glorified constantly. What Lipscar and Abuser have is not love, not shipworthy, etc. It's just another bad representation of gay romance that lacks the warnings of what it is.I wish I had caught onto the red flags sooner, and if anything this has taught me to follow those gut instincts in the future.
- CLOSING THOUGHTS -
If these things don't bother you, then by all means, get it while it's on sale because it certainly isn't worth the full $20 for an incomplete experience. I wish this had more warnings about its representation and at times glorification of sa and abuse. It felt like a betrayal for how interesting of a setup to nothing this game is. Also the story seems like it's going to be incomplete forever since nothing(that i know of) has been released after this, so that too. If any of you want a better representation of LGBTQ+ stuff, relationships, and just a generally better short and more complete feeling story, please get hustle cat on sale. Keep in mind it's sfw though. If you're just getting this for the porn, only the art is good and not the erotic writing, so I'd just find it online since the game makes it a drag to even unlock all of it and they feel like pretty short scenes as well. Not to mention the porn is bogged down by a plot that will disappoint by its brevity and pacing. To be clear, I don't think anyone who worked on this is a bad person, I just can't held but feel immense disappointment. At the end of the day, it just feels like an advertisement for some toxic bl when it isn't being a toxic bl itself. I wish everyone involved good luck on future projects and I really hope we see more out of this company. Please give us more stuff like Hustle Cat. Not this
