I love Starfield.. now. Had the game for years but waited for all the updates and improvements. NOW, the game is a joy to play.
I think I’m qualified enough to write this review after playing for over 150 hours, finishing all the DLCs, and unlocking all the achievements. I know there are others who’ve spent even more time on it, but it doesn’t matter as long as I’ve finished everything, right ? Many people are extremely disappointed because they’re comparing it to the Fallout and Elder Scrolls series. But in my personal opinion, even if we don’t make those comparisons, there’s still a lot to discuss. Let’s start with the main story. Well, it’s not good. At first, you’ll be eager to find out the secret behind the artifacts. But it really isn’t what you’d expect. The side quests some are creative, some are bad, and some are a waste of time. Some faction quests specifically the UC and the Crimson Fleet are good. On average, the missions aren't up to the standard you'd expect from Bethesda Another point is exploration it's interesting at first, but you'll get bored of it quickly. As for gameplay, combat is very fun, and there’s a lot of variety in weapons, as well as plenty of clothing and armor. As for resources, the idea of setting up an outpost for mining is a good one, but once you have enough money, buying resources becomes easy. Modifying and crafting weapons and gear is fun, and modifying starships is very creative. finaly the worst thing about the game . It’s the human companions. They’re always trying to talk to you. It’s a waste of time .after you finish a mission, they always want to discuss what happened. That’s why I think they are so boring. Starfield isn’t actually as bad as people say, but it’s not even close to Fallout 4 or The Elder Scrolls series.
Un gran juego la verdad muy entretenido
once you get the hang of this game it does become fun and at time addicting. The quest for power is an adventure of its own.
I really wanted to like this game. I loved Skyrim as a kid and enjoyed many of the Fallout games, but this game is not like those. It would be a disservice to simply call this "Skyrim in Space", it's not. It is its own game. Unfortunately that game is quite boring. The combat is alright, the writing is serviceable but made me roll my eyes a few times, and the quests don't really have any hook. The absolute best part about this game is the atmosphere and building ships. I loved the ship builder and spent probably a fourth of my time in it. I enjoyed flying it and having random encounters in space. But I think what really soured this game for me was when I found in empty ship in space, took it for my own, and flew it back to one the starbases. It had contraband on it and I was arrested by the space cops, which is fine and fair. The issue is that it forced me into a spy questline where I hated the main quest giver. Made me spend 15 minutes walking about the ship and listening to him drivel on. It pissed me off so much. Even reloaded my save, discarded any contraband I could find and still got taken there. I think there are good things about Starfield, but it's simply just mediocre to me.
