Mechanically, this is one of the weakest Ubisoft open world games. Your options in combat and stealth are much more limited than an Assassins Creed, Far Cry, Watch Dogs, etc. This isn't too bad because the areas and missions are smaller. But by the time you get about 5 hours in, you've seen everything mechanically the game has to offer. the upgrades and new abilities are just so minor and pointless, and even a lot of your starting ability set is barely used outside of mission-specific areas. For example, about 20 hours into the game you finally get the ability to pick up and use heavy weapons. There is only one usable heavy weapon in the game: the stormtrooper minigun you've fought 20 times before. It's mostly useless. The story also unfortunately doesn't do anything memorable or interesting with the Star Wars setting. It's not terrible, just very predictable and forgettable. The idea of a heist plot in Star Wars is so cool, but it ends up being an endless chain of fetch quests and shooting stormtroopers. All of the characters feel like they think they're too cool to hang out with you. They constantly talk about how cool and badass their past is, but they never actually do anything fun while they're with you. And you constantly need to escort them or save them or fetch them something. The game is beautiful and sounds great. The gorgeous environments kept me playing as long as I did. It's also fun to play as basically a girl version of Han Solo. She's definitely one of the more likeable Star Wars video game protagonists. She's not as funny as Nathan Drake, but she never got on my nerves either. The game ran fine for me. Performance wasn't amazing, but no bugs or crashes. HDR looks really good on Linux. If you want to just turn your brain off and wander around some beautiful Star Wars environments, this game is great for that. But in 2026 there's a lot of better Star Wars media to watch, and a lot of better open-world stealth action games you could be playing.
Отличная игра. Превосходное путешествие по разным планетам. Левелдизайн и работа художников - моё почтение! Сюжет и его подача хромают, но, в целом, сойдёт. Рекомендую!
Do NOT buy this game. There are SO many bugs. To begin with, the game indicates at launch that it is running on a mechanical hard drive and suggests that it will run better on an SSD... except I only have SSD's so it can't possibly be detecting a mechanical hard drive. That probably should have been a warning for the multiple issues that come up during gameplay: It's often possible to pick up quest related items before receiving the related mission, but quest completion will not trigger unless the item is picked up AFTER getting the mission; this effectively prevents the player from completing a number of missions unless a save can be loaded from before the item was picked up. In addition, random crashes occur without warning or preamble in the middle of play or when exiting a menu. Further complicating matters, the mouse/keyboard frequently quit working upon entering menus or looking at the map, requiring a controller to be connected in order to even exit the menu or map. Topping things off, there are multiple graphics issues that persist even after turning settings down to minimal and despite my high end video card with 16gb of dedicated VRAM. Definitely not recommended!
Main character is boring and just couldn't hook me on her story, mechanics, or personality in the prologue. 3/10
dont even get this on sale. buggy mess, runs terribly with textures flickering and popping in and out. massive vram leak. the game WILL bug and soft lock you. if you get past all that, the writting and gameplay are...ok. serviceable. it would be a fairly fun game if it worked. but. it doesnt.
If George Lucas played this game, he’d nuke ubisoft
Hervorragend!
love it , i have slow pc for it but its kinda playable at 30 fps low settings :) good content ! cute little helper ^_^
One of the worst Star Wars games I've played. I've genuinely tried to finish Star Wars Outlaws five times, but every time I give up because it's just so boring. The characters are uninteresting, the story never really grabbed me, and the whole experience feels strangely lifeless. It's supposed to encourage stealth, but most of the time I just end up killing everyone like the Terminator anyway. The gameplay itself is okay and the graphics look good, but that's about it. And honestly, for a Star Wars game, I really miss the things that make Star Wars fun for me — lightsabers and the Force. I've given this game more than enough chances. Five attempts were enough. I wouldn't recommend it even for €10.
fully broken, I ran into MULTIPLE game breaking bugs within the first hour, stopping me from progressing, places not loading in properly (like floors) making me FALL OUT OF THE MAP and dying, then having to wait 5 minutes for a checkpoint to reload:/
