Tried this out for a spoopy stream and it didn't disappoint! Carrion Wave was nice enough to provide me with a code to try it out and, IMO, I'd say it's worth the $4.99! It's a bite-sized game that should run you about 2 hours according to the devs, but RNGesus is never on my side when it comes to horror games of this variety, so i'm clocking in nearly 5 hours on it (that, and I got into a debate with my stream about how long one should take to bathe and wash their hair LOL). I've played the FNAF games, so this is definitely right up my alley! I'd say give it a go if you're a fan of FNAF-esque games, give this a shot! Tip: What I did to help me progress as far as I could was to start by doing the tasks that take the longest to the shortest, so head > body > arms & legs. Good luck and have fun! (:

Since I got this game for free from a fried trying to help another friend spread the word about the game they had been making, I figured I'd write a review for this game (And before someone looks at it and says, "oH iT's A bOt, ThEY'vE nEVeR wRItTeN a ReVIew bEFoRE UntIL nOW", bite me, I'm just too lazy to ever write reviews for anything else I play) Anyways, with all that being said, time for the review. This game is meant to be a scary game about a murderer who kills people inside their own shower, which is obvious without even having to have any context as to what this game is before playing. When I first played it I found myself chuckling a bit more than I was scared to be honest, but that's just because I wasn't expecting it to be what it is. The premise of the game involves you sitting in your shower and cleaning yourself off as you look around to avoid getting caught by the appropriately named, "Shower Killer", and that's pretty much it. I didn't get too far in but I can assume the mechanics don't change as you progress, only the difficulty and persistence of the killer. For as simplistic the game is and how choppy it may feel or seem sometimes, I still think it's fun and manages to have a creepy atmosphere about it, despite only ever needing 5 buttons to play. All in all, I think it's worth a try if you want something with a creepy atmosphere without the difficulty of any of something like FNAF or other similar games.
No pre-instructions but I guess that is part of the mystery. Once you get the hang of what you are supposed to do it becomes a real challenge to get it done before they get you. Fun stuff.
I had fun taking a bunch of showers. Super simple gameplay, but strangely addicting once you figure it out. I like the throwback graphics, reminds me of the old shareware days. Music and audio really helps make the atmosphere creepy; you need to listen closely for cues to try and catch a glimpse of what's sneaking around the bathroom with you... before it gets too close. And if it does get too close, things get weird fast. Think I noticed a few bugs, but nothing major and could've been part of the experience, a la eternal darkness. A little rough around the edges maybe, and pretty basic at its core, and I also wish you could tap to wash a little faster, but pretty fun little game for the money and definitely worth a shot for fans of indie survival horror games looking for something besides five nights at freddy's. Besides, you need a shower; you stink... and don't worry about that thing you thought you just saw, all that shower killer stuff your friend keeps texting you is just an urban legend.
Overall a unique and interesting game. The controls are simple, and feel similar to FNAF controls as others have said. At the final cutscene thingy for Victim 3 however, I don't know if it bugged or if I was doing something wrong, but it wouldn't let me progress and I had to exit. But it's definitely a fun few hours that's worth the price tag
Good indie game. Well worth the price.
