4/10 A free Klodike by 3 solitaire in fantasy setting.
Good:
- well, it's playable
So-so:
- music is pleasant at first, but there seems to be just 1 track, it gets sleep-inducing, repetitive and annoying after 10 minutes or so
- the pictures on the cards seem nice but there are just 12 of them + 4 for the aces. For all ranks except the ace, it's the same picture regardless of the suit. So it's actually confusing. Since the suit signs are pretty small, they drown in these colorful pictures, and it's hard to quickly see if the card is red or black. This introduces artificial difficulty of a wrong kind to the game
- the background is okay-ish, maybe too low-poly. And too colorful for a background. And it's just one background
Bad:
- no options, not even the "draw 1 card" option, no hints, no progress/metagame or anything apart form the bare-bones Klondike by 3
- stack slots are much bigger than the cards. And on the talon there is "tap to reshuffle" or something like that, and the text doesn't even fit properly into the placeholder. This shows laziness of the devs. I'm not even sure why they bothered to publish the game if they didn't care to do this basic, obvious polish.
Overall, looks like a learning project of some students? It's not commercial: it's free and there are no DLCs or in-apps. Still, they have some company mentioned, and its logo starts the trailer. I dunno. Anyways, you can find many better free options on mobile or for browsers for sure. And on PC, if ads kill it for you in MS Solitaire Collections, there are still a few free apps on Steam that are better, like Solitaire Forever 2, for example.
