It's an educational game; you learn about plants through trivia & reading hints. Personally I enjoyed t. I never thought I'd be interested in playing a game about plants but it was fun. My only gripe is that it's too short; I was finished with it in 42 minutes. Other than that it's decent as far as games go.. A cute and short game with useful information about plantlife. If you're into learning little bits of information, looking around, and enjoy the nostagic feel of 1990-2001 educational games then this little freebie is for you. It's not 100% in depth, and it's nowhere near the level of games like Math-Blaster, or Magic Schoolbus. But it's still a fun little game that may last a half hour to maybe an hour to complete. Filled with clever ideas, charming details and lovely design. It reminds me of the most interesting multimedia experiments of the 1990s brought up to date with modern 3D. Truly wonderful and highly recommended to anyone who likes to explore a virtual world and perhaps learn a thing or two along the way. I adore it. Solarium isn't so much a typical game as it's more of an educational experience. So if you're looking for some sort of crazy adventure in space involving plants then this probably isn't the game for you. You take the role of a student in space who is essentially studying to become a botanist. You can visit various locales such as a desert or the alpines. Or even time periods such as medieval. Each area has 10 different questions associated with that environment and clues nearby. Answering correctly will give you points which you can put towards making your own crazy plant designs. The only real complaints I have are that your character moves incredibly slow and that questions are sometimes difficult to find. This game is an easy recommendation simply because it's free and you can learn a few spiffy things. Screaming mandrakes, lambs grown as fruit, etc. So if you're into plants at all or just like learning random trivia then I say give it a go. This is an enjoyable game that allows you to create some... weird plants, and tests your plant knowledge while at the same time teaching you about plants!
