Wholesome and addicting, once you get past a set of graphics that only nostalgia could love. More fun than it has any right to be and worth way more than the 50 cents I paid for it! This game legitimately made me laugh out loud several times and scratched the Dragon warrior 1/final fantasy 1/ultima 1 itch I didn't even realize I had.

Solid, solid, solid NES-style JRPG. It's big and has many secrets and isn't too bad on the grind scale. Totally worth 5 bucks!

Bought this on sale. Just finished the Western Hole and looking forward to the rest of the game. Delightfully quirky and feels a lot like a streamlined version of DQ3. Lots of good ideas in this title. Classes are well done. I really like the over world hidden locations and wandering NPCs. Monster names are entertaining. Battles are fairly vanilla (but they wrap up very quickly, so it's not so bad).

It's a fun old school style RPG with a good sense of humor and a few modern conveniences.

So this game is pretty great. The music, and the graphics are done in the style of the old NES games so many of us Millenials loved. Yes, it's an RPG Maker game, but it isn't one of the bog standard ones you find littering the store these days. :) The developer did the work to make the game actually look like a oldschool RPG but play like a morelate 90s one. I appreciate this myself because while I fondly recall those days, I seem to remember those games lacking quality of life additions that later games had. This game gets bonus points for letting you add monsters to your party :)

I'm pretty early on, but I'm having a blast with some old school Dragon Quest vibes. The down side of that is the game boasts some old school Dragon Quest difficulty spikes. The other issue is that it does not have the forgiving deaths that Dragon Quest games have, death is a game over and you revert to your last save. Lost a bit of progress due to that. Overall this is a great game with intentionally bad graphics that I kind of adore. I'd recommend it to anyone who enjoyed a NES rpg back in the day.

Fun game. Lots to do, lots to see, lots of fights. Recommend.

I sometimes get an urge to play an older style jrpg. This had been sitting in my backlog for a while and I finally got around to it. This game has heart and is worth your time. Thank you for the adventure Mr Squirrel.

Good game with awesome 8-bit colors. Recommended getting it!
