The physics of this game are much more arcadey, and when compared toSpin Tires, feels like a step back. The trucks can be too bouncy and floaty. Some of the trucks tip way too easily. Spin Tires also had a fluidity in movement when traversing bumpy terrain. Every Snow Runner truck feels stiff with no suspension.
Instead of trying to emulate the most realistic delivery simulation, this game is like a small sandbox of obstacle courses. It puts you right into the action, but it is not good for roleplay. Because the scale of the maps are small, the game increases you fuel usage by an unrealistic amount, or else you would seldom have to refuel. They could have implemented more realistically scaled roads and highways to ensure you burn more fuel.
Those points are all entirely besides the dlc being ridiculous at this point. cherry pick what you want. the game is worth buying on sale. I just hope they are focusing on developing a new game in the series instead of more dlc.
