I thought this was a 20-minute game, turned up to be the next 5+ hours of torture of my life (I still need to finish the last few levels). I downloaded a blacksmith simulator and learnt to do parkour like it was prime minecraft. I learnt to dodge kicks, flying objects and the urge to give up. 10/10. I would test my urge to end myself for 5 hours straight again
very fun game, especially with friends, Tho it has a lot of gamebreaking bugs that could ruin a run. for such a simple game its pretty good, and even with the bugs i enjoyed it. (tho i wouldnt mind the bugs being fixed.)

Smithworks is one of those games that sneaks up on you. At first, it feels a little chaotic like you’re just fumbling around trying to figure out what’s going on but once it clicks, it *really* clicks. Playing it with friends is where it shines. Whether you're all fully locked in and sober or just vibing and a little out of your minds, the game somehow meets you exactly where you are and makes everything funnier, louder, and way more memorable. The learning curve is honestly part of the magic. At the beginning, we were confused, messing things up constantly, and laughing at how badly we were doing. But then something shifted. Once we actually understood how everything worked, it stopped feeling like we were struggling and started feeling like we were flowing. Like everything just fell into place. It genuinely felt like falling in love for the first time suddenly everything made sense, and you couldn’t get enough of it. And the energy? Unreal. There’s something about the way the game creates these little chaotic moments that turn into inside jokes instantly. One second you're focused, the next you're yelling, laughing, or trying to recover from some ridiculous mistake someone made. And if you're playing while high? It somehow amplifies everything—the colors, the sounds, the reactions it just becomes this hilarious, slightly unhinged experience that you don’t want to end. But even beyond all that, Smithworks holds up as an actual game. It’s not just funny because of your friends it’s genuinely well designed. Once you understand the mechanics, there’s a rhythm to it that feels satisfying. It rewards coordination, quick thinking, and teamwork, but never in a way that feels stressful or punishing. It stays fun. **Serious review:** Smithworks is a strong multiplayer-focused game that excels in group settings. Its initial learning curve may be slightly confusing, but it pays off quickly, transitioning into smooth and engaging gameplay. The design encourages social interaction, making it especially effective as a party game. While it thrives most with friends, its core mechanics are solid enough to stand on their own. Overall, it’s a well-crafted, highly enjoyable experience that delivers both chaos and cohesion in a way that keeps players coming back.

I love this game with friends! The tutorial is unnecessarily long as heck but otherwise it is great.

This game is awesome! My friend and I played this game while high and it was a blast. Figuring out how to communicate together has been a rollercoaster of emotions that ive never shared with my boi before. After we learned how to play the game together we learned how to play with each others hearts.
