About
It started with an email.
Inside the attachment waits an innocent little spot-the-difference game. Nothing special - just one of thousands of strange files that used to drift around the old internet. Except once you run it, something stays with you longer than it should.
Creepy Tales: Smile Dog is a desktop psychological horror inspired by the classic 2008 creepypasta. It’s a short, intense trip back to the age of old desktops, cluttered inboxes, and an internet that felt both naive and dangerous. And this time, there are five endings to uncover.
Receive emails
Check your messages, open attachments, and follow instructions that grow stranger with every step.
Find the differences
Compare images, watch for unsettling changes, and mark details that absolutely should not be there.
Return to the era of the old internet
Immerse yourself in a system inspired by the Windows XP days: play Minesweeper, browse folders full of photos, read BBS boards, and search for hidden traces buried in digital clutter from years ago.
Discover 5 endings
Smile Dog returns in a new form. We keep the spirit of the original creepypasta alive, while adding new layers of story, secrets, and unease - all waiting to be uncovered in five different ways.
The desktop is alive
Windows, files, errors, and system messages begin to behave as if your computer itself has become part of the horror.

Who let the dogs out
Really cool game but way shorter then I expected, I understand there are multiple endings to this game and I cannot wait to try and attempt them, also I really love how all my steam friend list can be interactable characters through mail, I pretended one of them to be priest it was funny lol, 7.5/10 nice solid game but story and gameplay I think can use a bit more story telling and longer gameplay
ON和OFF好歹换个不同的图啊
A nice and small cozy game based on the smile dog creepypasta 10/10 Would spend WAAAAY too much time looking for a missing patch of grass again
RATING: 7/10 AVERAGE RUN: ~30 minutes This game is a simple, haunted game creepypasta that shows off the 'Smile Dog' creepypasta story. With 3 endings, for $3, it's an alright game. I feel like the game could benefit from a longer playtime, perhaps more picture levels, more lore-based emails. Maybe even some alternative routes you can take, like having an ending for not making any mistakes in the game, or an ending for making too many mistakes (other than getting more emails). But, for what it's worth, it's a fun little game. I managed to 100% this game in about 2 hours, I probably could've done it faster if I used a guide. Overall, solid game, could use a little more content.
Nice little horror game -My achievments do not pop up when i do them
If Smile Dog is your favorite creepypasta, then this bite-size tell-the-difference game is likely to be enjoyable all you have to do is play the game and check your e-mails for a bit of lore, maybe have a smile on your face :) if you don't like game being done in about an hour, then this might not be for you
