It's hard to recommend. I like the artwork, it's nice. And it's not that the game is bad, but the mechanics are just tedious to play. It's a memory game, but also a slide puzzle melded together. It's a combination that doesn't work well. It just makes it really annoying to deal with, especially later levels. You (or at least I) just end up going one by one until you're done. There's a few easy to remember ones like "this one is purple" (iirc the only one like that) but mostly it's just taking one card from one end of the 'map' layout to the other to match it. Granted, I have my PC hooked up to a tiny tv and was sitting really far from it. So memorizing the finer details of some of these wasn't really an option, obviously this was my own fault. There's two lions for example. There's something that I forget what it is but sitting far away I would remember it as "the crab" lol. And a few things with dark brown-ish background shapes. That's what I was working with. It would likely be a bit easier actually sitting closer, but I was too comfortable to sit on the floor (bad setup atm). In theory the combination of gameplay types makes it more engaging than a standard memory puzzle, but it's just not fun. Which is unfortunate. I'd like to recommend it, but it's not that fun. I'd recommend it on sale I suppose, just to see for yourself. Just spread out your time with it. Playing all the levels in two sittings was a mistake (and I accidentally reset my game...) I'd like to see another game from the same dev. So I guess that's something. I think one tweak that would at least make the process of playing this better is if you click outside of a card then it should turn over the one you have showing already. It's a really slow process if you just want to check vor one card. Speaking of which, I forgot when you're swapping two card positions you can only really get a good view of the first one you clicked on. It might be better if it transitioned slower, or the animation was different to show both cards. Or even just do the second one on top since the first one would be turned over for a set amount of time until you pick the second, but the second will just be a second or so and covered for most of it's time showing. Making it harder to remember what is where.
