Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition

8.5/10 game. The main story is not so long. I like the combat system very much. I think it s one of the best out there for a game like this. There are some things I don t like. Lazy story - Npcs gives you quests just to do some parkour, but without a valid reason. Per total- I am sad I finish the game so early.

Sleeping Dogs is one of the must-play games from the early 2010s, it's a "GTA-like" but with martial arts combat and the setting it presents along with the stories that it tells hits right. The open world is well sized after its content scope and the atmosphere sounds and soundtracks are thematically perfect along with loads of good songs you can listen to on the ingame radio. Highlight is definitely the main story, but I've been enjoying some of the side stuff as well and while it does have a bit of that jank of its time, it still holds up incredibly well today.
