lightly biased on this one; I love Magnus Archives and was drawn by Jonathan Sims. Given that, the game would still be stunning if it was silent. Fun dilemna, fun characters, unique and charming dynamic. It is going to share a rec w/ its sibling game Scarlet Hollow. Both deserve their own dissertations, but I've yet to finish Scarlet Hollow (its an episodic release), so I feel unable to speak on it as a complete story. That being said, incredible amount of consequence and reactivity for such a small team.

The Cage and Fury might be my favs from this game! Beautiful game!

Fantastic story and easy to play definetly a game worth mulitple playthroughs to discover all the posible outcomes and uncover the story behind the stories

A brilliantly philosophical and romantic game with an eerie atmosphere and fun horror elements. Definitely not for players overly sensitive to body horror or gore, but in many ways not a game designed to disturb as other horror games are. Rewards creative thinking in a lot of places, though the visual novel format has its limits in this regard. 5/5
