Slay the Princess — The Pristine Cut

Fantastic game. Been in a bit of a creative slump and this game pulled me right out of it. Helped me see how beautiful games can be again as someone who had been primarily multiplayer games. Please give this studio your money. They deserve every single cent.

Uma verdadeira Obra-Prima. É espetacular como o jogo retrata as consequências das suas escolhas utilizando da sua INCRÍVEL arte e direção visual, junto das narrações d’O Narrador e da Princesa, que possuem vozes maravilhosas. A atuação vocal nesse jogo é impecável. Já teci elogios suficientes, mas só ressalto mais uma vez que todas as artes desse jogo são animais. Viraram meus wallpapers e fotos de perfil facinho, até mesmo antes de eu jogar o jogo. A história em si é o foco, e é carregada de simbolismo e passiva de interpretações variadas com a mensagem profunda das diversas facetas que ela apresenta. Afinal, essa é uma história de amor. Uma enxuta palavra para englobar um universo de emoções. E eu amei Slay The Princess. (principalmente “A Princesa e o Dragão” slk melhor run do jogo)

[b]What an incredibly niche game — and what an absolute gem.[/b] The voice acting is fantastic. Nichole Goodnight’s performance in particular was a huge highlight for me. I already knew her from The NoSleep Podcast, so hearing her here was a really nice surprise, and she absolutely nails the role. The story is easily the biggest strength though. It’s strange, unsettling, funny, emotional and constantly manages to make you question what the hell is actually going on. The way it plays with choices, perspective and expectations kept me hooked the entire way through. The art style is incredible as well. The hand-drawn look fits the tone perfectly and gives the game such a unique identity. It feels rough, intimate and almost dreamlike in a way that works incredibly well with the story. This is absolutely not a game for everyone, and honestly that’s part of what I love about it. It’s weird, experimental and incredibly specific in what it wants to be. What a niche game. And what a damn good one.

A Lot of fun and there are so many choices and i think its great if you want to lission to a story and pick out what will happen this is the best game!!!

After a friend got me the game. I got to play the first two chapters - where I ended the second chapter pretty quick I see the story in itself having potential but from what I got to experience in these 0.8 hours was bad scriptwriting and bad voice acting. Both VA's do have potential but from what I got to experience in this short time it only left me annoyed, because I feel like it could have been done better. but that's just my opinion and that's okay. People are different and everybody likes different things. So if you love it - love it but I wont prob. go back in and probably would have returned the game - if I wouldn't have got it gifted. See me as a harsh critic but I like to be honest about what I feel and think. Even if its about something that a lot of people like.. because even then you can dislike a thing and no this is nothing like forced hate... I followed this game for the longest time as I was super interested in it. So here I am with my honest opinion and still recommending it to you. Why? Because not like the narrator in this game.... I want you to build your own opinion on that and not just follow something someone said.. so go and see for yourself. xx Lilith
