This game is something else. It gives you memories and feelings you'd never expect from a game these days. The beautiful artwork feels comforting, the voice acting feels soothing, the OST is bittersweet, and the story... well, the story is the most beautiful part of this game.
I can't tell you much about this story without spoiling it. The best I can say is that, "You're on a path in the woods. And at the end of that path is a cabin. And in the basement of that cabin is a princess. You're here to slay her. If you don't, it will be the end of the world."
Go play this game with this amount of information about the story. Going in blind is and will always be the best way to play this game. This game is and will probably remain as one of my favorite visual novel games on the current market of video games. I'd rate this game a 11/10.
The rest of what I'd say will be a spoiler. Don't read the rest unless you've already played the game. but take my word.. this game is worth the money and It's very replayable and not "the annoying kind of replayable" if you get what I mean.
[spoiler] One of my favorite features of this game would probably be the voices that appear based on the choices you've made. They're soothing and calming. My second favorite feature would be the endless endings you get, and the third would be the endless consequences there are. One of my consequences is an ending, and the ending, the very first ending I've got through this playthrough, is "A New and Unending Dawn, and everyone hates you." Long story short, everyone hates me. :( I think I've got that enndig because I was not sympathetic with the voices every time I went to the Long Quiet, and I'm still very confused about the story of this game. But I'll continue playing it to understand more. Wish me luck. [/spoiler]
