The grappling hook lets you do some actual cool maneuvers, and the monsters actually do feel terrifying since you can't really fight back, and this is where I would describe the game's ending ^_^ ... IF IT HAD ONE! Fun way to enjoy half an hour of time though, and it's free, so thumbs up.

"find your missing love, Amelia and save her from her fate" - TL;DR It doesn't get that far. Really really short tech demo for a grappling hook mechanic that almost works, in that it can be bouncy and a little inconsistent. Boulders either can't be walked on or you go right through them. I was hoping the grapple would be used more for swinging but, in my playthrough, it was only used to ascend. Rather than crafting multiple copies of the hook, that part should instead craft longer versions of the rope! However, the extra copies do become usepul when the character lets go for no reason or the hook gets stuck & can't be picked up. This could be avoided by doing the Far Cry think and making the 'Let go' option return the entire line back to you. Doing so would also enable using it in a swing action. The cloaking device is way to short to be useful, health containers are thrown out rather than reused, the backpack at the start cannot be collected, and once the glider is unlocked, being picked up & dropped by the birds becomes an assistance rather than a hinderance. It was really fun but ends way too quickly, and there's no 'open world' mode to just run around with the grapple & glider afterwards. I hope the ending means a further game, but its released date and empty Discussions suggest an abandoned title.

Разнообразие классов и возможностей кастомизации позволяют создать персонажа, идеально подходящего под ваш стиль игры. Квесты интересные, с нелинейными диалогами и моральными дилеммами, что редкость для жанра. Отдельно хочется отметить графику. Визуально игра выглядит превосходно, особенно впечатляют пейзажи и детализация локаций. Музыкальное сопровождение прекрасно дополняет атмосферу Skylost. Но, конечно, не обошлось и без минусов. На старте наблюдались небольшие проблемы с оптимизацией, но разработчики оперативно их исправили. В целом, игра Skylost - это достойный проект, который однозначно заслуживает внимания любителей MMORPG. Рекомендую!

I want more to this. It can be jancky at times but it never ruined the experience form me. i played the game all the way through and loved it even though my heart kept racing went i was around those bat things. Amazing game and amazing atmosphere. Wish there were more to explore and play.
