[h1] "Developers will Own Nothing and be Happy!" [/h1] Well isn't this one going to be Hard to Judge. Skullgirls is an Interesting, Fast-Paced Multi-Character Fighter with Brilliant Characters, a [i] Beautiful [/i] Dark Deco Aesthetic and gameplay I can come back to whenever I feel like Training my Grapple Main Muscles. Plot consists of a Female-Centric McGuffin that was last seen in the hands of a Maid who sought revenge on the Mafia and now it's up to a Menagerie of Ladies (and a Couple of Dudes) to seek her out and claim her Heart through Trial by Combat. Gameplay promotes good Combo performance whilst allowing you to play with as many or as little characters as you please; whether tanking 3 characters as 1 or just having a nice 2v2. No two characters realistically feel "Same-y" well, except for two... But that was a joke. It does date itself a little with a lot of Background characters, some who are disbanded, some are ongoing and, unfortunately... [spoiler] Sonicfox... [/spoiler] But now for The Big Issue. [b] DEVELOPER SHANGHAI!! [/b] The people holding Skullgirls are not the same person who gave us the game, as he was ousted over allegations, with them in charge they proceeded to Censor the Game, including the artwork after the fact. Overall, it IS a good fighter if you're looking for something different from the mainstream, but on principle it's a game with Bad Standards. Something that could be more attained through 17th century practices... If you catch my drift...
