This is an outdated, public beta for Siren's Call: Escape Velocity. Home is where your body is. And like any good tourist trap, Siren’s Call will do whatever it can to keep you there as long as possible. They will drag you down like crabs in a bucket. They will make this place home.

Disclaimer: This is a free, public beta for Siren's Call: Escape Velocity. Be forewarned.
Siren’s Call, Florida, 2011, 60 miles north of Cape Kennedy
The final days of your adolescence are coming to a close…

Having solved the strange and terrifying mysteries of this quiet beach town, you have finally found the time to relax with your friends. In the two weeks since your adventure ended, the six of you have mostly cherished your time together—your spirits wafting beautifully on the precipice of adulthood.
Even so, all good things must end.
With only one day left in Siren’s Call, all that’s remains is for you to pack your bags and say goodbye to them.
Don’t leave without making sure they know how you really feel. Only then can you finally be satisfied with what’s to come.

Judith, the exceptionally sweet (and extraordinarily intense) sovereign of Siren’s Call;
Andi, the sovereign’s sassy twin sister whose strength and spunk speak volumes on their own;
Ashton, a hero in training whose sizable fist is matched only by the size of his heart;
Emil, the once timid boy turned man who will not stop until he reaches absolute perfection;
and Violet, waiting patiently as always.
There's a couple others too...I guess.

7+ hours of Visual Novel Gameplay with dire consequences for how you choose to spend this final day of yours.
55 journal entries and and 60 unlockable gallery images for those who want to explore everything this town has to offer.
An original story centered on saying goodbye to friends rather than saying hello to strangers.
A dynamic, evocative soundtrack made by The Pocket Protectors and LilyxJorge meant to perfectly capture the feel of central Florida music.
A cast of lovely characters that only want what's best for you.
Developer Note: This is the free beta version of Siren's Call: Escape Velocity, meaning that compared to the full release, there will be missing content and bugs that have been patched by the time the full release is out. While this version is (and will always be) free/up on Steam, it is a much more janky experience compared to the finish product. Regardless, it is still a great look into the past of this project that I hope you enjoy!

I NEVER DOUBTED I'VE BEEN A JUDITH FAN DAY 1 SHE CAN DO NO WRONG such an awesome story for my 3rd ever VN, ill never forget this game
Probably the best visual novel I've ever played. I cried 6 times, and rewatched the ending 3 times. It's way more than what the trailers and descriptions are able to convey. It's awesome. It's terrible. It's sweet. It's sad. And it's free. Play it. Leave a review.
I just finished it and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ was it an experience, it wasn't as scary as I was hoping for but it was over all very fun, would recommend.

so good i bought the dlc and listened to nothing but the soundtrack on loop for like 3 weeks. finishing touch spoilers below ---- IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN EMIL AND ASHTON 😭😭😭 anyway. loved the game, the horror bits were well done :) florida is important to me, as is this game <3 can't wait for escape velocity!
I originally found this game via the voice actor Casting Call, and had *no* idea what I'd be getting into. A new game with interesting designs and fascinating reviews, my friends and I decided to play it to see what it was all about. We left with having experienced a fantastic game with an amazing soundtrack, fantastic story and characters, beautiful CGs and sprites, writing that is able to hit great comedic beats yet able to handle the serious moments with all the gravity they deserve, and haunting moments that I still think about. This game was able to make me cry at the end - no easy feat, something has to be very well written and genuine for it to do that, and at the very last portion I was left silently crying. The disabled narratives in particular are authentic and real, and as a disabled neurodivergent individual this was especially important to me. The fact that the whole game also is mildly based off of a popular trope and pulls it off spectacularly is amazing and notable. It's definitely rough at times, the audio-mixing could be better (I had to have the sound effect volume at 3/50 - the opening scene was definitely rough before I lowered the sound effect volume, and the music often fades in focusing solely on one ear, which my left earbud is damaged so it was always a bit odd sounding), some of the fonts are hard to read coming from the perspective of someone with vision impairment (potentially a dyslexia friendly mode for the commercial release would be amazing, although I don't have dyslexia I just found the vaporwave font frequently used as well as Oliver's handwriting were difficult to read), and the first chapter can trail on for a bit, but this is a game that you can absolutely feel, sense, and see the absolute *love* and passion that went into everything about this game. The problems are minimal and can absolutely be altered for the full version. If you want a psychological horror game that leaves you with a sense of dread at times, yet delightful comedic moments, genuine characters, and a fantastic narrative about grief, high school friendships as well as featuring narratives about living with disabilities (I do love how the devs note that it is not a game About disabilities and neurodivergency, but rather features it. This is such an important thought process) as well as featuring a banging soundtrack and wonderful art, take a visit to Siren's Call. The rocket launches visible from Cape Canaveral are truly a sight to see.
gg
amazing game, so damn underrated.
great game and storyline
One of the best VN i played. The story was really well put together, not too linear but also not too confusing, rarely missed some important detail. Really liked the journal, i loved trying to piece the story together as i played. And also loved the themes and how they were presented.
Not at all what I was expecting and well worth the play. I can't think of any game that touches on the coming-of-age time period so well, as well as its specific subject matter, in a manner that this game does. Some of the dialogue does go on for too long, and I did skip a lot of it trying to get to the point of some of the conversations; that said, I was greatly touched by the story, and some of the quotes will stay with me forever as someone who struggles with depression and the interpersonal challenges that come with it. 4.5/5
