Waited for this game since the demo released and it's worth the price.
Not worth the money.
Pros: - fun cheap game for a number of hours - orc fluid mass is funny Cons: - lack of QoL like fast forward to speed up the grind, or slowdown for lower end computers when it reaches Lvl 5.2 and after - economy is slow and as a result makes farming runs boring - "plug the choke" kind tower defense - not too many levels Overall fun, but come in with tempered expectations. I wanna see some free new levels and more QoL
Bought it for $9 at release. Wish there was a bit more content (but what is there is pretty good), but I it took me about 6 hours to get a 100% Decent tower defense, has a nice overall theme, and it eventually feels like you are fighting a fluid rather than orcs. More maps, or challenges (the few achievement challenges were fun enough to figure out) would be very welcome. Overall like a 7/10 I had a good time, but its a good sign I wish there was more of it.
extremely bad tower defense, soulless "incremental" slop game, overpriced, little to no content. no story. expect to pay 2 dollars per hour of actual content. there is not even a congratulations for completing the game screen. want a good tower defense, go play gemcraft or bloons want a good incremental game, go play cookie clicker, or terraformental; or gnorp apologue, or trimps or go buy an ant farm If an online influencer recommended this game to you, unsubscribe to him cause he did you a disservice.

It's good, but I have some constructive criticism that I hope might help take this game from good to great. I like this game and I want to play more of it. But I probably won't without some of these tweaks in a future update. 1) It was never clear to me that I only got those little cubes if I completed the level with taking no damage until after I had completed the game and went back to the beginning to try the early levels with upgraded weapons. I was locked out from some branches on the tree just because I didn't know how to get more cubes. This may have been explained, but if it was I missed it so take it as a data point. 2) It isn't very challenging. And that's okay, it's good for casual players. Even though I was locked out from a few branches of the tree I wasn't ever uncertain that I could beat a level. Don't get me wrong, there was a clear escalation in difficulty, but the game was over before I really had to struggle. 3) And this ties in with two. Not enough maps. I don't feel cheated for $10, but with this kind of game I assume it's pretty easy to make just a few more maps. Maybe one or two per difficulty level, and then a few more difficulty levels higher than the current max. And paid DLC is not a fix for more maps (or more enemy variety). Not in this case. I don't feel cheated for $10 but I did expect more and feel that with the traction this game is getting that a bit more work in this area is justified in standard updates 3) I'm not sure how I feel about making later orcs bullet spongey. Why do these guys take more hits? Do they have kevlar? If so why do they look the same? Maybe make them faster instead or just keep adding more until it is absurd. 4) General polish. I won't list a bunch of examples, but you know it when you see it. 3 that stood out though: Enemy sprite/model/whatever you use variety is low. Only one AI behavior, the menu screams "I was coded with Claude." Some stuff I really like by the way: Content, variety, and upgrade system for weapons is good. I liked that no single weapon was good enough for every situation. I never really got bored of any single one because they always had their specific case where a different one couldn't quite get the job done.
It's fun, but kind of short and potato looking for the price. Surprised this is 1.0. I got about 4 hours from it and most of my game time was from accidentally leaving it on. After surviving the last level it felt kind of like "oh, I guess that's it"? The incremental stuff and "nodebuster tree" was just kind of irritating and gets in the way. Layout strategy for defense is the much more fun aspect. Wish it was more a puzzle structure that you had to pick what to bring to a level.
great TD game and could actually be really challenging and hard at time but i pushed through and got the 100%!
