very expensive for what it is. It is a pretty basic tower defense game. There is almost no content.
Demo was more fun than the actual game, add more content to make the $10 worth it. Also nerfing the cool abilities from the demo just pmo. Unfortunate since I was looking forward to it; not refunding in hopes it'll get better with updates.
[Mediocre] tower defense. Caught my eye due to the "fluid" flood of enemies, but it turned out to be rather simplistic, shallow, and short. The main issue with the game is that it lacks complexity, all skills are basic, and progression requires replaying the same level over and over to get enough resources to upgrade and beat the next level. Felt more like a short showcase/demo rather than a full game.
The base concept is great but there's not enough levels. The balance is a bit off and it feels too linear.
its fun, but not worth $10, get it on sale for 6 or less if you can, its about 8 hours total
1) Early game - AMAZING! Mid game - Great. Late game - annoying... 2) The gameplay goes from addicting to "repeat last map until you get upgrades to stand a chance in the current map" 3) The game's optimization is fantastic, even my potato ran it flawlessly. That being said, I can't recommend this game simply because the last few levels are just a slog of (2)), then trial and error.
Might not look like much at first glance, but behind the basic graphics lies a very fun game :) Definitely recommended!
the demo was better
The only thing that could improve it is more levels and, ideally, a map editor. I've beaten every level without letting a single orc through at this amount of play time.
I found the demo more fun than the actual game, which was very disappointing. I didn't like how they changed the support abilities to use charges instead of cooldowns, it made playing the levels way less engaging. What really drags the experience down is the late game. The levels feature a lot of orcs with a lot of health and it just takes forever to kill them all. And you will need to sit there and kill them all a lot, on the same level, over and over again, without changing your tower layout because you have to grind for the upgrades. It felt like half my playtime as on the last 3 levels. Just start game, click mouse to start shooting missiles, wait 10 minutes, buy one upgrade, repeat. I was not having fun the 2nd half of this game.
