This game is like adhd meds for 4x games, its near perfect to just kill time and enjoy every moment but my only complaint is that the power scaling means you don't really need to make much of the ships below capitol class after getting a few planets. I think the older games were paced better in the series as it would force you to actually have to diversify your fleet and trying to win without titans starbases or anything more than a few capitol ships. I think the cost for capitol class an up should be maybe close to 5-10x the cost to slow the progression down so you cant just build a doomstack asap and roll the game easily.
Cool visuals and fun concept but gets boring pretty quickly for a lot of people and many more are turned off by the predatory DLC practices. I've played many like this, and none think of themselves so highly. ------------------------------------------------------- 4/10
Ai Slop is used way more often then the steam page would suggest. tons of art assets are replaced with AI slop.
AI slop. The ships look like the cybertruck and the game is overall ugly. No gameplay improovements since the last game worth taht price
Great game, only bought for Star Trek Armada 4! Even in the pre-alpha stage this easily makes the game worth the price!
The idea is ok, Basically the same compared to a lot of other games. I honestly expected more since this was there second title. Never played number one. The Problem with the game is that is just lacks so much. Settings, advance fleet directions, unclear victory conditions, buggy coop ai enemies or teammates or factions, unspecific or no details of what stuff actually does, and so on, and late game scaling in my opinion is weird. I get max fleet, research essential ships and buffs down the military tech tree and have like 95% of the strongest fleet i can get yet i still have like 2 hours worth of in game tech time that still needs to be research because there are only so few way to increase research speed for that last 5 % of economic or military prowess. I know they are coming out with a bunch of dlcs, but they all seem to expand whats already there not to refine it. After playing it for a few hours, a few different maps, a few different factions, I have played it all. Sure I cant go against the hardest difficult cause i don't know the exact perfect build path and what not, but like i mentioned it is so similar to so many previous games that just were just more refined. The game is ok, if your interested get it on sale, because it is just expensive for what it actually offers.
SUPER!!

A nice strategy game if you never played strategy games before. Otherwise, there are games that do the same thing better. Warhammer Dawn of War has better tactical battles Terra Invicta has better unit customization/tactical space battles Warcraft III has better anti-snowball mechanics AI War 2 has better AI/expansion planning/roguelike elements Etc etc Can't name something in Sins that would set it apart from other games of the genre in a good way. Guess it should be fun with friends but I ain't got friends that play this
