┼┼┼┼┼┼┼┼┼┼┼┼┼┼┼┼┼┼┼┼┼┼┼┼┼┼┼┼┼┼█████████ █████████████┼┼█████████████┼┼┼┼█░░░░█ ┼█░░░░█░░░░█┼┼┼┼█░░░░█░░░░█┼┼┼┼┼█░░░░█┼█████ ┼█░░░░█░░░░█┼┼┼┼█░░░░█░░░░█┼┼┼┼┼█░░░░█┼┼┼█ ┼█░░░░█░░░░█┼┼┼┼█░░░░█░░░░█┼┼┼┼┼█░░░░█┼██████ ┼███████████┼┼┼┼███████████┼┼┼┼┼████████████ ┼███████████┼┼┼┼███████████┼┼┼┼┼████████████ ┼███████████┼┼┼┼███████████┼┼┼┼┼████████████ ██▒▒▒███▒▒▒██████▒▒▒███▒▒▒██████▒▒▒███▒▒▒████ ┼▒▒█▒▒┼▒▒█▒▒┼┼┼┼▒▒█▒▒┼▒▒█▒▒┼┼┼┼▒▒█▒▒┼▒▒█▒▒ ▄▄▒▒▒▄▄▄▒▒▒▄▄▄▄▄▄▒▒▒▄▄▄▒▒▒▄▄▄▄▄▄▒▒▒▄▄▄▒▒▒▄▄ ▐▐▐▐▐▐▐▐▐▐▐▐▐▐▐▐▐▐▐▐▐▐▐▐▐▐▐▐▐▐▐▐▐▐▐▐▐▐▐▐▐▐
SimRail – The Railway Simulator: Prologue by SimRail S.A. is a deliberately uncompromising introduction to a railway simulation that places authenticity and system accuracy above all else. From the moment you step into the cab, it becomes clear that this is not designed as a casual driving experience but as a detailed recreation of railway operations, where understanding procedures, signals, and mechanical behavior is essential. As a prologue, it functions less as a fully structured game and more as a focused demonstration of its core systems, offering players a glimpse into a much broader and more ambitious simulation. The driving experience is the centerpiece, and it is built around a strong sense of realism. Trains do not simply accelerate and stop on command; they respond to weight, track gradients, braking force, and momentum in a way that requires careful planning. Every action must be considered in advance, whether it is slowing down for a station, maintaining speed through long stretches of track, or reacting to signals ahead. The pacing is slow and deliberate, reflecting the nature of real-world train operation, and this creates a unique kind of engagement where precision and patience are more important than speed or reflexes. For players who enjoy mastering complex systems, this can be deeply satisfying, as each successful journey feels like the result of skill and understanding rather than simple execution. The simulation extends beyond driving into the broader infrastructure of the railway network. Signaling systems, track conditions, and operational rules all play a role in shaping the experience, requiring players to remain attentive at all times. The routes themselves are based on real-world data, which adds to the sense of authenticity and scale. Journeys feel long and continuous rather than segmented, reinforcing the idea that you are part of a functioning transport system rather than completing isolated missions. This attention to detail helps create an immersive environment, even if it comes at the cost of accessibility. One of the more distinctive aspects of the game is its integration of multiplayer elements, where different players can occupy roles within the same railway network. While only partially represented in the prologue, the concept of drivers and dispatchers sharing a live environment introduces a layer of unpredictability and cooperation that sets it apart from many traditional simulators. The idea that your experience can be influenced by the decisions of other players adds a dynamic quality that goes beyond scripted scenarios, hinting at a more complex and interconnected system in the full version. However, the game’s commitment to realism also introduces significant challenges. There is very little in the way of guided progression or structured objectives, leaving players to navigate the experience largely on their own. For newcomers, this can make the initial learning process feel overwhelming, as even basic operations require familiarity with systems that are not fully explained. The lack of a strong tutorial or onboarding process means that much of the learning comes through trial and error, which can be both rewarding and frustrating depending on the player’s expectations. The presentation reflects the game’s focus on accuracy rather than visual spectacle. Environments are built to represent real locations, and while they may not always be visually striking, they contribute to the overall sense of realism. The cab interiors and controls are detailed and functional, reinforcing the simulation aspect. Sound design plays an important role in immersion, with engine noise, track sounds, and environmental audio helping to convey the scale and weight of the trains. These elements work together to create an atmosphere that feels grounded, even if it lacks the polish or cinematic quality of more visually driven titles. As a prologue, the scope is naturally limited, and this becomes more apparent over time. The available content does not fully explore the depth of the systems, and the absence of a broader progression structure can make the experience feel incomplete. It succeeds in demonstrating the core mechanics and ambitions of the project, but it does not provide enough variety or long-term goals to sustain extended engagement on its own. This reinforces its role as a preview rather than a standalone product. In the end, SimRail – The Railway Simulator: Prologue stands as a strong proof of concept for a highly detailed and immersive railway simulation. It excels in delivering a realistic driving experience and a convincing representation of railway operations, offering a level of depth that will appeal to dedicated simulation enthusiasts. At the same time, its steep learning curve, limited structure, and narrow scope make it less accessible to a broader audience. It is a game that rewards patience and curiosity, providing a glimpse of a much larger and more complex system that has yet to be fully realized. Rating: 7/10

Nareszcie godny konkurent dla Train Sim World! Zapowiada się świetna gra, potencjalny pogromca Train Sim World. To bardziej sandbox w małej skali niż otwarty świat. 🔹 Regrywalność: Umiarkowana. Główna frajda to perfekcyjne pokonanie tras, obserwowanie pociągu w ruchu i testowanie różnych maszyn. Jeśli lubisz detale, obserwację i cierpliwość – będzie frajda. Solidny prolog dla maszynistów w sercu 🚆
If you love trains then this game is a must-try! It is just a prologue which includes only two scenarios with one of them having the day/ night options, yet that's already enough to show how intriguing the game is. The delicacy in both the driver's and the passenger's cabins also shows how realistic the game is! Controls seem to be a little complicated when I first started playing the game, but that's probably how the controls work in real life, so I pretty much enjoy learning it because of the realism. Once you have practiced enough, you'll be able to memorise the startup procedures and control the speed fairly easily, therefore don't give up! When you finally get used to the game, you will find reaching the stations on time exceptionally satisfying! I think I'm going to purchase the full game when it goes on sale :>
This DEMO is not as good as the game :D Yes if you are in to trains buy the game and play I have 500hrs in it.
very realistic game espesily for train lovers
