one of the best narratives ive experienced
10 out of bloody 10, the music, the story, the sounds, all of it is amazing, fasinating, just incredible, i dont know how else to put into words of how much it has moved me, made me cry for ages, every minor character you meet like Beo in the mines or the ARA underneath the dorm, even though they had a few lines, it made me be upset for them as they're left alone whilst you're unable to help them at all. I love this game so much. Made me cry so much after finishing it. I recommend it to anyone eyeing this game or who already have it on their wishlist. <3
Good Game

PEAK DOOMED YURI
If you love Resident Evil and Silent Hill then this one is really made for you! This game scared me more than Silent Hill 1 and that's saying something, Gameplay is as you expect from RE gameplay mechanics but added some twist here and there, shooting the guns is crispy and satisfying. Story? One of the best in the genre, must try for RE,SH or Survival Horror fans!
i felt like i was getting it then i beat the game and nothing was clicking in my mind. i feel like the story of this game is almost too cryptic but i did enjoy this game. everyone calls it a masterpiece but i feel like im missing something because this game was great and honestly its only flaw was the bossfights are kinda lame sometimes and storytelling it way too cryptic but calling the storytelling cryptic is almost an understatement. i understand that games with difficult stories to understand are great when you finally find out the story, theorizing while playing the game is part of what makes it fun, but i dunno i feel like i hit a brick wall sometimes trying to understand this games lore. of course im gonna go watch a 2 hour explanation of the story but to me, that isnt what i want out of a game, i kinda want the story to be slightly easier to understand. theres such an expansive and interesting world on display but the storytelling method of reading notes that explain things to you doesnt click with me personally because i have a hard time storing all that information in my noggin. overall though without even understanding the lore this game was amazing. i dont play survival horror games at all and i only had to use a guide a couple times but overall the puzzles were surprisingly fun. 8/10 will probably get bumped up when i understand things more
非常优秀的科幻老生化恐怖生存游戏,美术风格很顶,地图设计相当精妙,解谜这块对不上作者脑电波就会显得相当操蛋,总体评价为夯爆了,当之无愧的意识流神作
TLDR; I was too confused to even be terrified. I am mostly too dumb for a lot of complicated gaming lore, especially games where the stories are scattered in flashbacks, multiple journal/notebook entries, different perspectives and characters. I get the general idea of the game but there are so many questions that I am not sure if it is just plotholes or something I missed or I basically need more IQ to understand. Which, to be honest, is a bit of a waste because I am actually quite curious about the setting and characters of the game. I do think that the 'accidentally awakening some kind of eldritch/hidden/dark/forbidden power which creates this hellscape/loop/dream/memory/flashback' as overused at this point. I started my one and only playthrough with what seems to be the hardest difficulty and I guess it kinda dampens the experience. It is no different from the familiar gameplay loop of doing suicide runs to explore and plot a path before committing to a set of actions to optimize the limited amount of items and ammo that you get. Thankfully you get unlimited saves and sometimes on reload, you get some in-game assistance via items just miraculously popping up in some rooms. I also dislike the fact that endings are linked to actions you take, forcing a particular playstyle and the hidden ending can only be achieved on second playthrough. Look, I understand the dev wanting people to replay the game and explore it more but even with a guide and the easiest difficulty, it is just a smattering tedious fetch quests, a lot of running (the run speed is quite slow too) and specific actions. Overall, it is still not too bad, would recommend to people who wants to scratch the lore and the usual survival horror itch.
