Плюсы: олдскульная атмосфера — стиль и геймплей отсылают к классическим шутерам 90‑х; высокая реиграбельность — стремление побить рекорд и разблокировать все 8 достижений мотивирует возвращаться; поддержка контроллера — удобное управление и полная совместимость с геймпадом. Минусы: только английский и японский языки — нет русской локализации, могут возникнуть сложности с пониманием интерфейса; очень высокая сложность — игра требует отточенных навыков, новичкам будет тяжело пройти даже первые уровни; однопользовательский режим — отсутствуют многопользовательские опции, играть можно только в одиночку. Итог: хардкорный вертикальный шутер для ценителей жанра — подойдёт тем, кто любит испытания на реакцию и выносливость, хочет проверить свои навыки в духе ретро‑аркад, соревноваться с самим собой за лучший счёт и пройти все уровни на максимальной сложности.

"Shooting Game KARI" is a revamp of an old abandonware shmup made in the 1990's and now it's here on Steam for free, which is a nice gesture I guess, but you can't go home again. It plays okay but this is no 1942 or Raiden or any of those other classics. It was a "me too" back then and it's aged quite poorly. Since the controls can't be customized, this makes the game inaccessible for a wide range of gamers, including those who are left-handed, have physical impairments, or use international keyboard layouts. Developers have a responsibility to ensure gamers can customise their experience with the game. Let's look at the price and what kind of value this actually offers gamers. Even as a free game, this couldn't find an audience. With a peak of [b]only 14 players[/b], it's clear the Steam community took one look and walked away. They literally couldn't pay people to spend time playing this. This "free" game won't count toward your game collection count on your profile. With that in mind, is it something you should still download? I think you should give this one a miss. Although it's free, your time and storage are valuable resources, and the market is filled with superior options. Like I said, you can't go home again... it would be tough to recommend this to gamers in 1997 when it was up against games like Jedi Knight and Total Annihilation... yes, they had fully 3D games even back in 1997. One final note, there's so many games on Steam, it would be impossible for anyone to play all of them in one lifetime (although I am trying). As gamers, our time is important and we have the luxury of choosing between so many games... but so many of them are so badly made, often unethically through incompetence or greed, so I think it's important for gamers to help each other find the games that deserve our time. Понравилась возрастающая сложность уровней, которая заставляет постоянно адаптироваться и улучшать свои навыки. Особенно запомнились боссы – каждый из них требует индивидуального подхода и тактики. Отдельно стоит отметить приятную музыку, которая отлично дополняет динамичный геймплей. Единственный минус – это некоторая однообразность локаций. Хотелось бы больше разнообразия в визуальном оформлении. В целом, 'Shooting Game KARI' – отличный выбор для тех, кто ищет простой в освоении, но при этом увлекательный и challenging шутер.
