While presented outwardly as a turn-based RPG it's really a puzzle game in which moves must be considered and combined in specific ways to beat fighters that are otherwise unbeatable. If you've ever found a cheese strat in an RPG that breaks encounters by utilizing some interaction between abilities and moves, you're familiar with the type of thought process that this game encourages. Combine with charming visuals and writing it's a fun way to kill an hour or so. DigiPen's student project system remains a consistently solid source of fun little free games and Shiner is one such success story.

This game is great, it's simple, it's fun, and it's actually hard without forcing the player to grind.
This game is adorable. The combat consists of picking a move that you've learned from fights, and adds a puzzle element in that you need to figure out what move you need to beat a certain enemy. Adorable and witty. and it's free? That is truly amazing.
its a fun game, but it doesent save data.
