Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance

Amazing game, some of the best gameplay in the genre. I played the Vengeance route as my first playthrough and had a great time. The story is light but decent, and the endings are interesting and offer some cool perspective. Yoko and Tao are solid characters and represent their alignments in an interesting way. The atmosphere is where the game really shines though, exploring the ruins of Tokyo is amazing and the world in general is fascinating and really fun to learn about. Exploring in this game is amazing. It only has a few dungeons and most of the game is spent in the relatively open zones. You progress through them linearly but they have tons to explore and are extremely seamless. I love checklists and this game has a couple of really fun things to collect and check off, and given the difficulty almost everything you find is valuable. Combat wise, it's peak. It's super difficult and requires a lot of legitimate thought and strategy to win in fights, and there is a ton of build variety on the MC. Lots of demon variety as well and choosing the best team for every boss is super fun. This is the second press turn game I've played after Metaphor Refantazio, and yeah press turn still really is just one of the best when it comes to jrpg combat. Music is also peak. It's a super unique style but has a lot of tracks that really stick with me. The regular battle theme especially is a banger. All in all, this game is great and I cannot recommend enough.

還沒破關但是戰鬥是好玩的，除了死亡就馬上結束遊戲但又有隨時手動存檔的功能，劇情個人覺得可以，惡魔合體跟玩法選擇很多樣
