About
Shelves And Sorcery is a relaxing fantasy organization game about turning absolute chaos back into order.
Weapons, potions, spellbooks, fruits, vegetables, magical curiosities, and thousands of other items have been scattered throughout three fantasy shops. Pick everything up, find where it belongs, and slowly watch each shop return to the way it was meant to be.
Take your time and enjoy the satisfaction of putting everything in its place, or learn every corner of the shop and race against players around the world for the fastest time.
Choose from three shops of dramatically different sizes, each with its own setting, atmosphere, and challenge. Then return to them in four different modes, whether you want to relax, chase the fastest time, wield every bit of magic from the start, or organize without magic at all.
• Casual Mode – No timer and no pressure. Take your time, enjoy the atmosphere, and organize every shelf at your own pace.
• Timed Mode – Race against the clock and compete on the global leaderboards. Learn where every item belongs, master your Sorceries and Enchantments, perfect your route, and keep pushing for a faster time.
• Archmage Mode – Start with every Sorcery and Enchantment already unlocked. Take on the entire shop at full magical strength and see just how powerful an experienced shopkeeper can be.
• No Magic Mode – The magic of the world has escaped. No Sorceries. No Enchantments. No magical shortcuts. Just you, thousands of misplaced items, and the knowledge you've gained along the way.
1,000+ items to organize
A cozy shop tucked away in the quiet village of Burg. Once a welcoming stop for locals and passing adventurers, its shelves have fallen into disarray. With 1,048 items to restore, it's a comfortable introduction to the satisfying world of organizing.
3,000+ items to organize
A well-loved shop in the bustling market town of Stonebridge, built through years of honest work by its humble merchant. With 3,085 misplaced items, restoring The Merchant's Rest offers a much larger challenge with plenty of shelves waiting to be put right.
4,000+ items to organize
High above the clouds on the floating isle of Vane stands a legendary shop filled with magical treasures from across the world. With 4,066 items scattered throughout, The Grand Athenaeum is the largest challenge of them all. Take your time restoring it, or master every shelf and chase the fastest time.
Thankfully, you don't have to organize thousands of magical objects entirely by hand.
As you make progress, unlock Sorceries designed to help you tackle the mess.
Gather matching items from around the shop, reveal objects you've been struggling to find, or use magic to send items toward the shelves where they belong.
The more you organize, the more powerful your magical toolkit becomes.
Magic isn't limited to spells.
Unlock Enchantments that permanently improve your abilities and change how you move through each shop.
Carry more items at once. Increase your reach. Move faster. Jump higher. Eventually, even take to the air.
Combined with your Sorceries, these abilities can turn an experienced shopkeeper into an organizing force of nature and become an important part of chasing faster times.
Whether you're carefully organizing The Hearth & Barrel after a long day, working your way through the thousands of items inside The Merchant's Rest, or fighting for a place on the leaderboard in The Grand Athenaeum, Shelves And Sorcery is built around one simple satisfaction:
Finding where something belongs...
and finally putting it there.

This game is amazing! I have ADHD and so this game scratches an itch for me that very few can. Not only is there a mess to clean but there is multiple things to organize as well! I love that we have a variety of items! Books, food, potions and so much more! The dev is awesome and really listens to his player base. He is quick to fix issues and release patches/fixes ASAP which I appreciate. The QoL improvements he has implemented in just the last week alone have been so very helpful.
I enjoyed the music in this game, the atmosphere was 10/10. The items are cute and all have unique names, which I appreciate. If you like sorting games you'll like this one for sure. Also I am happy that this game has no gen ai. Worth the money in my opinion.

Brilliant organiser game, especially with the introduction of challenge modes and leaderboards. Dev was smart to use assets from their shopkeeping game as they're beautifully designed and have some funny names and references to keep it fresh. The abilities also scale up in the amount of currency you need to purchase them, so it's harder to rely on a single ability in the same way that you do in Library. Sound design is a little rough (I had to mute because I cannot STAND the pickup noise) but I'd still describe this as my second favourite organiser after library, and trust me, I've been playing a LOT of them while I recover from a chest infection!
Phew. Finished the game, 100% achievements - which included completing each mode for each map (4 modes, 3 maps = 12 playthroughs minimum). I quite enjoyed the brain numbing cozy organizing this game offered. Even when doing the no magic mode (which u can still upgrade bag space magic fortunately), the categories are clear and distinct enough. even within the categories, the different subcategories made sense and were quite clever. Also especially loved that the Timed mode was NOT a speed run, because I sometimes have skill issues.
Loved it! All achievements completed... Wish there were more levels... What am I going to do now?? :-)
Veeeeery addictive. I love it. <3
I hope the devs will add item fall physics. The first level was not great due to the item pile hanging in mid air.
This has a lot more originality and care than other 'Tidy Up' clones. I appreciate that shelves get labelled once you put an item on, but my old lady eyes can't see the text. We deperately need text scaling options.
Amazing Game! I just completed the first shop at a bit over an hour and a half and the only bad part was knowing it would end. I was really glad to remember there are three more shops to sort out. The leaderboards are a fun idea. I cant see trying for a top spot but besting my last score will be a fun goal. I liked this so much i bought a copy for my sister as well. I really liked that each item is visually different enough, even the books, so that i didn't need to try and zoom in on what i am holding to see what i have just picked up. This makes the game flow really well and its relaxing where it could have been fiddly and visually fussy. It i could nit pick anything it would be that i am not wild about the vegetables as i found them a bit traditional for the theme of the game. Something more imaginative would have been nice especially as so many vegetables are brown/yellow. But really that's just reaching for something to complain about. I know this is early days and the game was just released but i thought i would add that I would be very happy to hear of future DLC's in the roadmap. Please!
Very fun, I like the different levels. Just the right combination of challenging and relaxing.
