About
Shelves And Sorcery is a relaxing fantasy organization game about turning absolute chaos back into order.
Weapons, potions, spellbooks, fruits, vegetables, magical curiosities, and thousands of other items have been scattered throughout three fantasy shops. Pick everything up, find where it belongs, and slowly watch each shop return to the way it was meant to be.
Take your time and enjoy the satisfaction of putting everything in its place, or learn every corner of the shop and race against players around the world for the fastest time.
Choose from three shops of dramatically different sizes, each with its own setting, atmosphere, and challenge. Then return to them in four different modes, whether you want to relax, chase the fastest time, wield every bit of magic from the start, or organize without magic at all.
• Casual Mode – No timer and no pressure. Take your time, enjoy the atmosphere, and organize every shelf at your own pace.
• Timed Mode – Race against the clock and compete on the global leaderboards. Learn where every item belongs, master your Sorceries and Enchantments, perfect your route, and keep pushing for a faster time.
• Archmage Mode – Start with every Sorcery and Enchantment already unlocked. Take on the entire shop at full magical strength and see just how powerful an experienced shopkeeper can be.
• No Magic Mode – The magic of the world has escaped. No Sorceries. No Enchantments. No magical shortcuts. Just you, thousands of misplaced items, and the knowledge you've gained along the way.
1,000+ items to organize
A cozy shop tucked away in the quiet village of Burg. Once a welcoming stop for locals and passing adventurers, its shelves have fallen into disarray. With 1,048 items to restore, it's a comfortable introduction to the satisfying world of organizing.
3,000+ items to organize
A well-loved shop in the bustling market town of Stonebridge, built through years of honest work by its humble merchant. With 3,085 misplaced items, restoring The Merchant's Rest offers a much larger challenge with plenty of shelves waiting to be put right.
4,000+ items to organize
High above the clouds on the floating isle of Vane stands a legendary shop filled with magical treasures from across the world. With 4,066 items scattered throughout, The Grand Athenaeum is the largest challenge of them all. Take your time restoring it, or master every shelf and chase the fastest time.
Thankfully, you don't have to organize thousands of magical objects entirely by hand.
As you make progress, unlock Sorceries designed to help you tackle the mess.
Gather matching items from around the shop, reveal objects you've been struggling to find, or use magic to send items toward the shelves where they belong.
The more you organize, the more powerful your magical toolkit becomes.
Magic isn't limited to spells.
Unlock Enchantments that permanently improve your abilities and change how you move through each shop.
Carry more items at once. Increase your reach. Move faster. Jump higher. Eventually, even take to the air.
Combined with your Sorceries, these abilities can turn an experienced shopkeeper into an organizing force of nature and become an important part of chasing faster times.
Whether you're carefully organizing The Hearth & Barrel after a long day, working your way through the thousands of items inside The Merchant's Rest, or fighting for a place on the leaderboard in The Grand Athenaeum, Shelves And Sorcery is built around one simple satisfaction:
Finding where something belongs...
and finally putting it there.

Fun enough and looks pretty
Love it. I like the atmosphere of the shop. I like the variety of items. I can zen a bit more in this game than some clean up games as, with the exception of a few books, I don't need to read the name of the item as it's visually distinct. If the developer added in the ability to change up the background music via a gramophone or something, I'd be even happier. Make it so we have to find the tracks/records in the store 's mess would be fitting as well.
This game is a lot of fun. There are a huge variety of items to sort, ranging from small potion bottles to huge staffs. Also, the names of the books have me laughing!
Genuinely such a good game, I'm a newer sorting game enthusiast and I've been having a BLAST since i got it. I love that there's more than one level to play immediately. There's so many ways to play this game! The devs also listen to the community and update the game regularly.
Good atmosphere like Librarian: Tidy Up the Arcane Library. The text is hard to read for my eyes and some of the items are really small so it's not as relaxing as an all-book shelving game, but I do like it better than say, Supermarket Chaos, which doesn't have the nice atmosphere. Idk how much of the designs in this game are AI but it "appears" a lot of work went into the item design if they are human made. I don't know if I'll be speed running this one like I did with Librarian but I certainly enjoy zoning out in casual mode.
A great tidy-up game, plenty of unique models, a whopping three different locations, that can be classified as "easy" "medium" and "hard" based on the amount you need to clean. Its nice that they are genuinely different locations. It also ships with a leaderboard and a speedrun mode. Lots of content for your buck with this one. The only downside, is how heavy its reliant on the abilities once you start using them, especially the spell homeward, which sends ALL the items in your hand to the proper shelf. This makes it very easy if you manually place stuff, to accidentally have two or three shelves have the same product and you will run out of space for other products, and you have to spend time figuring out which product is a duplicate, which depending on the category can be quite time consuming! It therefore creates a severe dependancy on homeward so you don't waste time. At the end, I was just spamming recall on shelves that werent full and then homeward on random junk that was on the ground.
ive just finished the first location and can already say that this is my favourite organizing game as of now!
