About
Shelves And Sorcery is a relaxing fantasy organization game about turning absolute chaos back into order.
Weapons, potions, spellbooks, fruits, vegetables, magical curiosities, and thousands of other items have been scattered throughout three fantasy shops. Pick everything up, find where it belongs, and slowly watch each shop return to the way it was meant to be.
Take your time and enjoy the satisfaction of putting everything in its place, or learn every corner of the shop and race against players around the world for the fastest time.
Choose from three shops of dramatically different sizes, each with its own setting, atmosphere, and challenge. Then return to them in four different modes, whether you want to relax, chase the fastest time, wield every bit of magic from the start, or organize without magic at all.
• Casual Mode – No timer and no pressure. Take your time, enjoy the atmosphere, and organize every shelf at your own pace.
• Timed Mode – Race against the clock and compete on the global leaderboards. Learn where every item belongs, master your Sorceries and Enchantments, perfect your route, and keep pushing for a faster time.
• Archmage Mode – Start with every Sorcery and Enchantment already unlocked. Take on the entire shop at full magical strength and see just how powerful an experienced shopkeeper can be.
• No Magic Mode – The magic of the world has escaped. No Sorceries. No Enchantments. No magical shortcuts. Just you, thousands of misplaced items, and the knowledge you've gained along the way.
1,000+ items to organize
A cozy shop tucked away in the quiet village of Burg. Once a welcoming stop for locals and passing adventurers, its shelves have fallen into disarray. With 1,048 items to restore, it's a comfortable introduction to the satisfying world of organizing.
3,000+ items to organize
A well-loved shop in the bustling market town of Stonebridge, built through years of honest work by its humble merchant. With 3,085 misplaced items, restoring The Merchant's Rest offers a much larger challenge with plenty of shelves waiting to be put right.
4,000+ items to organize
High above the clouds on the floating isle of Vane stands a legendary shop filled with magical treasures from across the world. With 4,066 items scattered throughout, The Grand Athenaeum is the largest challenge of them all. Take your time restoring it, or master every shelf and chase the fastest time.
Thankfully, you don't have to organize thousands of magical objects entirely by hand.
As you make progress, unlock Sorceries designed to help you tackle the mess.
Gather matching items from around the shop, reveal objects you've been struggling to find, or use magic to send items toward the shelves where they belong.
The more you organize, the more powerful your magical toolkit becomes.
Magic isn't limited to spells.
Unlock Enchantments that permanently improve your abilities and change how you move through each shop.
Carry more items at once. Increase your reach. Move faster. Jump higher. Eventually, even take to the air.
Combined with your Sorceries, these abilities can turn an experienced shopkeeper into an organizing force of nature and become an important part of chasing faster times.
Whether you're carefully organizing The Hearth & Barrel after a long day, working your way through the thousands of items inside The Merchant's Rest, or fighting for a place on the leaderboard in The Grand Athenaeum, Shelves And Sorcery is built around one simple satisfaction:
Finding where something belongs...
and finally putting it there.

This is a perfect cozy game. If you loved seek and find's, you'll love this. There are 3 shops with increasing size that look like a tornado has swept through. Your job is to sort out all the products and put them back on the shelves. It's a cool game you can play for minutes or hours at a time.
A great addition to the sorting stuff genre. Having the game let you decide which way you want to play is a nice touch as well. If I were to voice a complaint would be... uhmm... the purple highlight is too similar to some existing items and can easily be missed? So have to look through shelfs to see the locations. And... uhmm... not being able to do the no magic achivement without selecting it?

Unfortunately, I feel like this game doesn't quite capture the charm that Librarian has. The janky menus and the way items are just dumped in a random pile takes away from the immersion I felt. I just feel like a dude putting away items.
I love sorting games and I love this one equally as much.
I'd been interested in this new genre but the idea of having to sort thousands of the same item felt like it would be too overwhelming, so even before I realized this was from the Teddy's Haven dev I had my eye on it. It's definitely a little extra fun seeing a bunch of familiar fruits and veggies, but even aside from that the variety helps a lot with not getting burned out. It's nice that the casual mode doesn't keep track of time, so I can just relax and not have to think about how long it took me to rearrange my potion shelves over and over, while there's still a timed mode for people who want to try to speedrun. I'm experimenting with different ways of organizing certain things (especially potions) to see if I can spend less time reorganizing on the bigger levels and maybe tackle No Magic mode on them someday because man. That's a daunting prospect. The first level was really fun to do without magic though, very relaxing. I think this would be a really good game to give the sorting genre a try with, and I do definitely recommend it.
fun as hell. funny item names
This isn't the first of these kinds of sorting games I've played, but it's definitely my favorite. Admittedly, this genre of game isn't for everyone, but if you enjoy these kinds of games I'd highly recommend this one. What makes this game stand out from other similar ones in the genre is the inclusion of multiple game modes and LEADERBOARDS! These are fantastic additions that add replay value a lot of the others are missing. And as an added bonus, NO AI! The products sort nicely and are visually distinct enough to identify at a glance... except maybe for the books. If I had any feedback to offer, it'd be making the books just as distinct (or at least more so), maybe by adding colors or accents to the cover and/or spine.
This game has really been a delight. The devs are super responsive to issues/requests, the gameplay loop is relaxing and calm, plenty of items to entertain, there are cute Easter eggs that made me laugh, plus the World of Warcraft vibes are perfect. The challenge and timed modes are perfect ways to encourage repeat playthroughs. Only thing I'd wish for is the ability to turn the lights off and enjoy the ambient glow from all the potions and glow items. Solid 9.5 out of 10, will play many times over.
one of the best sorting games, LOVE
I enjoy this game. Yes this is a tidy up game with standard skills you can purchase. There is so much personality in the items. The some of the weapon names are MMO and development references. It makes me laugh and I am now curious what I am going to find.
