Shelf Life is an action FPS set in a near future conglomerate, that will seem eerily familiar if you spend your time around online dumpster fires. Use your arsenal of weapons to shoot, burn and fungible-ize your way through the Edison facility fighting a lizardy hostile takeover.

Impressive how much work can go into something and it still be 90% cut corners. I know that is supposed to be part of the joke and charm of the game, it just stops being funny when it makes the game actually less enjoyable. There is a fun game in there, but it's pretty deep in the rough.
I haven't felt this lost in a game since dark souls, and I mean that in the best possible way. No mini-map, no quest tracker, no bs. Just you, your gun and eerie office cubicles full of baddies. I couldn't ask for more. Highly recommended. [Edit] I have just finished another playthrough,, which might have taken me some 3 to 4 hours (why do I feel there's more to explore). Congratulations devs, you've managed to write a fun love letter to old schools shooters, while adding your own touch and personality. The commentary on corporate bs is just on point. The world needs more games that don't take themselves too seriously. I'm looking forward to playing your next game.

Really polished early access game!!! Soundtrack and atmosphere are on point and feels lush to move around. If you've ever dreamed of tricking lizardy guys into getting hit by cars then you've come to the right place xoxo
Gameplay and overall vibe of the game has improved tenfold with the recent patch. Still a game in Early Access but definitely shows more potential than on it's release. A cheap and fun game to play in it's state now, will definitely keep an eye out for the future updates. Only issue was the game was rather laggy even with good specs on medium settings, aswell as missing/unfinished(?) music in the final level. Bar that, it's a fun short romp in it's current state.
This has pretty good potential, however I don't believe its fully there yet. I'll wait until the release on the 22nd to give a larger in-depth review, but for right now I'll say that it does feel good and I currently will be recommending it.
I gave all my life savings to Ron Edison and he made me rich and famous by investing in Eggs Corp. Also he is handsome, funny, and super smart. He also beat me at Diabro. 10/10. (This message has been drafted by the Eggs Corp Quality Assurance Team for public posting.)
Feels like a demo - absolutely not worth even the low entry cost of $5 right now.
Honestly a decent game, very clearly still in early access but would absolutely recommend, some quality of life stuff to add in the future would be great, ability to change controls/mouse sensitivity, subtitles wouldn't be a bad idea either, something in the corner or on the pause menu telling you your current objective would be great, found myself unsure where to go for a minute and was just wandering around aimlessly, also being able to aim down the sight of the gun would be wonderful. Quite a few bugs, some weird collision stuff, like enemies falling through objects, player able to walk through a wall, some weird audio bugs when certain things happened like the explosion, i was able to scroll past the same handgun 7 or 8 times before finally getting to the flamethrower, and in the bigger room where the early access ends, game becomes very laggy, maybe its because I'm playing on max settings but i was at nearly 30 fps. and some stuff that I personally found a bit tedious, enemies sometimes taking like 5 or 6 headshots to die, intro was maybe too long and just wishing it was easier to understand the story/objective, which is what an objective overlay would help with, either on the screen while you're moving around or on the pause menu Overall a very good game and I'm very interested in the idea and looking forward to playing it again when the full release comes out.
what the cuck i literally numbed bmy pants
Died to the car train area like 80 times first time playing. Felt like a child walking home from school, super realistic, 10/10
