Go home, Alice. The past awaits you. This is the second chapter in the horror visual novel trilogy.
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. The player count below is how many people own it, not what they spent.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 10 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

This is a horror visual novel about facing the past and learning to move on from pain and fear. In the last chapter, Alice just escaped from the intruder chasing her, a man named Jack Thornton. She may scared him off, but there are other problems on the horizon. Not only does she have to move on after the passing of one of her closest allies, she still has to face the truth behind her painful memories. The answers lie inside her hometown, that has only changed for the worse...
Features:
A continuation of the first chapter of the series. (The demo.)
Hand-drawn artwork that was scanned and edited in Photoshop.
Animations that include fight scenes and scene transitions.
Music done by Nihilore, to add to a beautiful ambient atmosphere. (Link to their website is in the game's manual.)
A visual novel with a few branching paths that can lead to a few optional bad ends.
A story about facing adversity and moving on from impossible struggles.
Characters:

Alice: A woman who escaped from being a prisoner of a distant war. She only remembers her name, and her recent escape attempt. Her circumstances change after hiding in a cabin and receiving a letter from a friend that she thought was already dead. On this journey, she feels like somebody is trying to control her, like a puppeteer toying with her strings. Now, she returns to her hometown that has changed for the worse.

Evan: A childhood friend of Alice who joined the military a few years ago. Shortly after he joined the Iron Crusaders, Alice was kidnapped by opposing side. He hates the Knights of Rust for all the pain they caused, especially their Crowned Puppet. The Knights' greatest weapon was responsible for the death of his brother, and he doesn't know that Alice used to be their prisoner. Could her and the Crowned Puppet be connected? For the sake of his sanity, Alice hopes he doesn't know.

Talia: A medic under the employment of the Iron Crusaders. After fighting the Knights of Rust and the Crowned Puppet for years, a part of her is relieved the war is over. Unfortunately, she is paranoid that Gloria, the Crusaders' leader, still wants to continue the Valiant War. That fear slowly gets stronger, along with her need to escape what used to be the Alice's hometown. It doesn't help that after meeting the tired woman, Talia can't help but feel there's something strange about her. The more the medic finds out, the more Alice fears for her safety.

This game acts as Chapter Two of the series, and the last one will be released at a later date. Their store pages will link to previous chapters. Your support is very much appreciated.
Decent little horror VN with hand-drawn artwork
Shadows of Memory is a pretty simple horror visual novel, and while it’s nothing particularly groundbreaking, I still had a decent time with it. The story and gameplay are fairly straightforward, with a few branching paths and bad endings to keep things interesting. What I appreciate most is the hand-drawn artwork. In an age where so many games are filled with the same AI-generated slop, it’s genuinely refreshing to see actual artwork that has some personality behind it. The animations and atmospheric music also fit the horror vibe quite well. It’s not a game I’d write home about, but considering the price, it’s a decent little experience for anyone who enjoys horror visual novels and wants something made with actual artistic effort behind it. I really enjoyed the story, and I like the twists it's had so far, can't wait for the final act! And the art is also very charming! Keep up the good work! >ᴗ<)و

Has more chapters and a bit more lore than the first Shadows of Memory game/ demo. The artwork still hand drawn (love that!) was sadly disappointed there was less choices to be made by the player (made it feel less interactive and more like I'm reading a digital book. This one didn't leave me with the cliff hanger than makes me want to keep on reading or makes me want to read the next chapter. All in all I like what the developer is doing with this series and I wish them the best for the next chapter and hope it will answer the questions Shadows of Memory I and now II have created. The first game was better and I sadly wouldn't recommend this game. Still love the hand drawn art work though. Very unique artwork. I enjoyed it for what it was, but I wish the UI elements were explained a little better. I kept skipping dialog by accident.
