The developer has proven themselves to me. I buy each new offering without hesitation and drop everything to play it. Each one is better than the last.

Another amazing game from this studio. Loved the puzzles, even tho they felt slightly easier compared to previous games.
Playing Rusty Lake: Servant of the Lake felt like spending three strange days as the Vanderboom family’s hired help, and I loved how the game traded the series’ usual cryptic sprawl for a tighter, more grounded puzzle adventure. I settled into a loop of chores, visual puzzles, and domestic mundanity that slowly curdled into quiet horror, and the hand-drawn art and Victor Butzelaar’s score kept me uneasy from start to finish. I appreciated the lower difficulty and clearer narrative, because it let me follow the story without losing that unsettling Rusty Lake atmosphere. It didn’t completely reinvent the formula for me, and at times I felt like I was walking through familiar ground rather than facing a fresh nightmare, but I still enjoyed its strange charm and the way it pulled me deeper into the lore. For me, it was a solid, accessible chapter—quietly memorable, even if it didn’t fully surprise me.
