Serpent Fusion is a difficult puzzle game based on Snake where you grow longer by attaching boxes to your back instead of eating food. From this, you also gain the ability to stand still and move backwards, allowing you to reverse into boxes and stick to them.

A very interesting puzzle game that mixes snake mechanics with Picross of all things. Amazingly, it works well and the puzzles are excellent.
Best Snakoban game I've ever played.
This game is absolutely awesome. The rules are simple but there's plenty of challenge to be had with this interesting puzzler. Plus, apparently the dev is releasing new levels soon! Very excited to play more Serpent Fusion, and looking forward to future works from this prodigy

游戏画面很不美观,但游戏设计极佳,设计上基本也不重复。 68关的难度跨越过大,也比较繁杂,放弃了
Cool little game. Nice, enticing difficulty slope. Really neat, cohesive sound design. The music and sounds set the mood well, and get the noggin joggin. I like how one of the updates is named after an actual snake- I hope to see more of that. :)
Absolutely amazing puzzle game. Puzzles are extremely well thought-out and have a clear objective. Each level challenges your existing knowledge and teaches you something new. The controls are simple and let you focus on the game. 10/10
Fantastic puzzle game, very original idea and smartly designed stages.
Serpent Fusion is a refreshingly unique puzzle game. The game concept, to try explain it simply, is a hybrid of a turn based "Snake/Tron" game and the old 1990's Flash game, Sokoban. Like Snake, you're presented with a 2D grid level, but instead of being an action game, it's a step/turn/move based structure like Sokoban. You move your Snake around the game grid to get to the exit. Easy, right? The challenge and puzzle element kicks in where some grid squares are "water" and if your snake is not touching the ground, it will sink... and of course, the exits are usually behind a certain length of water. So you need to grow your snake long enough to reach... and of course the "food" that grows your snake is dotted around in places where you'll have to carefully plan each step to collect them all. Hopefully this explanation can help gamers understand what the game is all about, because it's a very novel idea and has a lot of potential... but not as a PC game. This feels very much like a Java/Flash/Browser/Mobile puzzle game and not a PC game. There's a simplistic/minimalist 2D top down view, no nice interesting graphics or anything. From the complex explanation I provided, it would seem obvious once this is explained carefully in a tutorial... but nope, there's no tutorial, so you more or less have to work out how to play the game on your own. Controls are locked and can't be changed, this may make the game inaccessible for some differently-abled gamers. The game is completely free. Nothing speaks more to a developers belief in themselves and their product than making their game available for everyone without remuneration. This is certainly a gesture that shows dedication to the gaming industry. It's a shame in this case that the implementation is below the minimum standards a dedicated PC game should offer to enthusiasts. There's no "maybe" option in Steam, unfortunately, but I hope to see more work from this developer, perhaps as part of a professional game development company that can make full use of their talents without needing to make budget/quality compromises. It would probably have made more sense for this to be launched as a browser game or on mobile so the developer could find an appropriate target audience, and even get paid for their work through ad revenues or something.
