About
SERIOUS SURVIVORS is a brutally intense roguelike FPS where over-the-top carnage meets ridiculous power-ups. Circle-strafe, jump, dodge backpedal, and blast your way through endless hordes of enemies while collecting absurd perks that transform you from "zero" to "super-bad-ass-hero".
Hell is empty, and all the monsters are here – waiting for you to fill them with lead.
Clash with waves and waves of bloodthirsty enemies. From mildly annoying bastards to semi-deities eating heroes like you for breakfast. Every run throws hundreds of foes at you simultaneously. The only escape is through a mountain of corpses.
Start with a trusty pistol, end with a walking arsenal of destruction. Dual-wield shotguns, unleash minigun mayhem, or reduce enemies to bloody mist with the particle disintegrator. Unlock new weapons between runs to expand your options for the next slaughter.
Combine during a single run for earth-shattering builds. Double your rate of fire! Triple your movement speed! Bullets that explode into more bullets! Create combos so powerful they should be illegal (and probably are in some dimensions).
Death is just the beginning. Use resources collected during runs to permanently unlock new starting weapons, perk options, and chaotic environments. Every failure brings you one step closer to becoming an unstoppable killing machine.
Just died after a 20-minute rampage? Don't worry, the next run is just seconds away. Quick restarts and addictive gameplay loops will keep you saying "just one more" until the sun comes up. Your sleep schedule never stood a chance.

This game is really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ great and I'd pay for DLC, but there are a few things that would take it to the next level: -Co-op -Option to make runs last longer (custom match length) -Better item descriptions -Obviously more items/weapons/upgrades would be great -De-buffs could also be cool. Example: You get a really powerful ability that triples damage, but slows fire rate to add dificulty (The modding community could have a field day with this game)
Is this bugged? I'm not taking any damage... and the special doesn't work? Hmmm....
A couple more maps and rollable upgrades and it'd be perfect methinks, til then it's still a pretty good game

very good game a little worse serious sam survival but it's f2p ;p
Fun, free Serious Sam themed survivors-like. Each round seems to last around 30 or 40 mins, you win so long as you do not die. The balancing is in much need of help though. After a few healing type upgrades, I just stopped receiving damage altogether and the game was no challenge at all. Still had fun blasting away my enemies, but I didn't even have to move. If the game was more balanced, more of a challenge, I think I'd have even more fun. However, for free I'd say it's still worth checking out for a bit if you like the theme and genre.

Serious Survivors is exactly what it advertises: a fast-paced, over-the-top boomer shooter with roguelike upgrades and nonstop chaos (whilst taking inspiration from Serious Sam series). You pick a map, survive for 20 minutes, and try not to get mobbed by monsters along the way. The gameplay is very straightforward. Classic FPS controls (WASD to move, Space to jump, Shift to dash, Mouse-click to shoot, etc.), level up to choose perks, stack upgrades, grab new weapons, repeat. You start with an SMG (other starting weapons and maps need to be unlocked), and during runs you can pick up things like a minigun, plasma launcher, or assault rifle. The enemies resemble early DOOM-style mobs and quickly scale up in numbers until you’re circle-strafing for your life. The low-poly PS2-era aesthetic has its charm if you’re into that retro vibe. It definitely leans into the “simple but explosive” style. That said, once the 5-minute mark passes, the gameplay loop starts to feel a bit repetitive. Surviving the full 20-minute timer can feel like a grind, especially when the main challenge becomes avoiding getting cornered by a sea of enemies. It’s fun in short bursts, but it ran its course for me after a few runs. Perhaps the game could benefit from more variety. Lowering map unlock costs, adding more weapons, introducing permanent progression upgrades, or even unlockable characters with unique passives would go a long way in keeping things fresh. Overall, it’s a decent time-killer with chaotic energy and quick restarts. Not super deep, not super complex, just plain old shoot, dodge, survive. And hey, it’s free, so if you’re curious and want some mindless carnage, there’s no harm in giving it a shot.
