Игрушка была маленькая, но очень красивая - совсем как настоящая, а еще мальчик очень хотел собаку, поэтому он уговорил маму купить ему эту игрушку. Целый день он играл с собачкой, и даже спать пошел вместе с ней. Мама мальчика приоткрыла дверцу и увидела огромную собаку. Это была та самая игрушечная собачка, которую она купила мальчику. Только она теперь стала намного-намного больше, так, что даже еле протиснулась в проем двери. Собака тоже увидела маму мальчика и бросилась к ней. Но мама успела закрыть дверцу шкафа. Утром мама стала искать и нашла игрушечную собаку в комнате мальчика. Мама взяла игрушку и сожгла ее. Игрушечная собака сразу вспыхнула и мгновенно сгорела. От нее остался только серый пепел. In the morning, the mother started searching and found the toy dog in the boy's room. The mother took the toy and burned it. The toy dog immediately burst into flames and burned up in an instant. All that was left of it was gray ash. That same day, the boy and his sister returned home from the hospital—the bites disappeared immediately after the toy was burned.
