Interesting setting and turn-based strategy action. Right from the start, the experience is smooth—the tutorials are clear and easy to understand, helping players quickly grasp the mechanics.
kanser olmalık bir oyun
6.5/10 TBS in sci-fi setting TLDR: the main novelties here are area-based (instead of the usual range-based) movement and attacks with tricky rules + 3-stage turns (plan, build, move). The game ends up tedious because of mobile-optimized UI and controls that require too many clicks and needless confirmations. Plus, turtle-pace unit animations Good: + free + a unique system where units move across 3x3 areas and defend borders. Some attacks happen during the build phase, some when you enter an area, some when you come next to an area's border defender. It's definitely interesting but somewhat confusing at first + clean UI gfx + nice music So-so: +/- okay 3D graphics. Though I'd say this game would be easier and faster to play if it just had 2D gfx and a top-down view +/- UI seems to be optimized for phones. So, mouse-over is never utilized. This results in more clicks needed to do most UI actions. Instead, mouse-over should have shown info tooltips - and on PC they don't have to be scrollable because there is plenty of space on the screen to show them in full +/- there is a system of turn phases: first you "plan" (schedule) what building or units you want to build, then you actually place ("build") them on the board, then you move units. I'm not sure why the "plan" and the "place" stages are separate. It would take fewer clicks if it were just a single stage where you select units from the build menu and then place them on the board right away. But newly placed barracks then need to be inactive and shouldn't be able to produce new units in the same turn +/- English localization would require proofreading by a native speaker. E.g. "conquer" should probably be "capture" or "infiltrate". "on infantry" should be "vs infantry". I think I noticed at least a dozen such mistranslations +/- the story is basically a wall of text, and it's even voiced. The poor girl struggles to read all that scribble, and my heart goes out to her. I think, shortening the text or splitting it into smaller sections that are presented at separate occasions would be better. In fact, the story is quite boring, so I'm not sure it's even needed. Could shorten it drastically or re-write it with more life +/- animations of units are way too slow, and waiting for a dozen of enemy troops to move takes way too much time. I couldn't bear it and didn't even complete the 2nd tutorial. I'm not an impatient person. It's just that the game is obviously wasting the player's time on stuff that should be either instant or go much faster or in parallel Bad: - dialogs are too big and show too few items, resulting in too much scrolling needed to see just a few units. Even if you make UI scale smaller, the dialogs still show the same number of items and you still have to scroll inside a tiny dialog - too many confirmations! Just to move a unit, you need to click on a tile and then click the "Move" button in a popup. Instead, if only 1 meaningful action in available, it should be performed at click by default. The popup dialog is needed only when 2+ actions are available. Though even then I'd rather want the simple click to perform the best action (e.g. "conquer" for infantry when capturing buildings) and maybe Shift+click doing a simple attack - long delays between turn phases (3+ seconds!). I suppose these come from the animations of enemy units taking place inside fog of war? These should be definitely skipped Many of my complaints seem to be fixable. Though my gut tells me that the core combat system here is just too unusual an too non-obvious to ever be fun to play for anyone but the extreme nerds (even nerdier than me). I mostly dislike that shots take place in accordance with such convoluted rules around the ordering that it all ends up feeling just random. My advice would be to merge the "plan" and "build" phases and remove the shooting in the build phase. Also, the defender-attacker shots ordering could be just replaced with simultaneous ones like in Advanced Wars - most players already know that system, and current one doesn't seem to really improve anything. Create game, trying to find settings, need to return to main menu for it, returned, try to play, getting "bruh pay me" window. Look like main menu simulator or smtn, can't even check gameplay, look very interesting
