Your game is doomed if you don't get the modding issues sorted out and keep treating players and mod authors like dirt. The dev team arbitrarily changes core mechanics, breaking countless mods, damaging the community, and they refuse to admit their mistakes. You blatantly favor certain nations over others. The US is already overpowered, yet you still hand them the purely fictional Alaska-class nuclear‑powered cruiser. When the USSR asks for the Baku, your team says, "You already have the 1160, why do you need the Baku?" And you also deny them the Kalinin and the Frunze. But then the Americans already have the Mk.26 Ticonderoga, and you still give them the VLS version? This team has no real leader and is completely undisciplined. In short – don't buy it! Now that the dev team is at least willing to communicate, that's a good step. But you must follow through on your promises – and only then will I revise my stance (and my review).

Incredible realism and game play. Graphics are great, but you can play entire scenarios through formation editor and tactical map
A buddy gifted me this game, he has a huge swinging hog, he's really into naval stuff and now so am I
Finally I'm able to scratch the itch that reading Red Storm Rising gave me. This game is fantastic.
dudes be like "this is military propaganda" my brother in christ, it worked, triple the defence budget for the Royal Australian Navy
Fajnie by było stworzyć polską społeczność, jeśli byliby chętni to zapraszam do kontaktu. Stałem się już wielkim
Being a teenager in the 80s, the scenario of the Cold War going hot was always a possibility. At the end of the decade, I was drafted myself. To say the least, the modeling of the various systems and the sheer quantity of equipment simulated (and I mean that in the sense that the game is not "gamey") is stunning. I got immersed and did not even notice how many hours I spent - given that my game time is limited when you have a family and a job. To put it simply, reading the encyclopedia by itself it already fun. It feels like flipping through the pages of an old Jane's Defence Weekly magazine. I recommend using a higher tier computer configuration. When a lot of units are present, some older games my start to lag a little. Graphics is not overly top notch, but absolutely fitting. Hey, who used to play Harpoon in the old days knows that less works too, as long as the game concept is right.
This game is pretty good just your usual learning curve.
