Absolutely wonderful, beautiful game
游戏没有任何指引,做完紫色箱子的支线,根本找不到哪里解锁了。搜完攻略后,想找到具体是那个洞穴,还要绕来绕去重新走一遍,路上遇到小怪连逃跑按键都没
As someone who doesn’t have a lot of time to play, this game has been well worth the investment. The levels are short and well designed. The side characters are full of life, especially Garl (who serves as the life of the story). The story feels epic with grand stakes. It’s everything you want from an rpg. There are some endgame gripes that I have. The fact that there are some story threads that seem to just disappear. That is, as I hear, after a lot of research, that this game is a prequel to another game that they came out with before. That disappointed me tbh. The end fumbles a bit but overall it was a good experience
This game is nothing short of a masterpiece and has easily become one of my all-time favorites. I just finished the story and was hooked the whole time. I love the classic detailed pixel graphics, the fantastic soundtrack, the engaging and creative combat mechanics and puzzles, the incredible story, and lovable characters. One of the things that really strikes me is the seeming love letter styling to classics such as Legend/Secret of Mana and Chrono Trigger. That being said this game doesn’t feel like a copycat in anyway. It stands out with its own with incredible originality and wonderful creativity. I have not adored a game this much in a long time. Seriously dev team, well done!

The game has built-in cheats for casual babies and allows you to change the difficulty whenever you wish. No achievements for playing on the harder difficulty. The game is slow as hell. The story is extremely bland and childish. This game is made for children.
It’s a good and fun game. The visuals and soundtracks are amazing. The plot is pretty decent. But the main downside is that some of the main characters feel a little bland. They kinda address this in the DLC but it honestly should’ve been part of the main game. The strength of this game is really in the battle mechanics. The turn-based with timed-button-press mechanics help keep players attentive. Then the combination of skill use, combos, boosted actions, and vulnerabilities of enemies create synergy for players to strategize their actions. I have mixed feelings about their puzzles. This game has A LOT of puzzles as you make your way through dungeons. While I can see they make the game more engaging than without them, a lot of them don't feel very well designed and obtuse at times. Compared to action adventure games like Zelda and games in that genre, it lacks intention. The main characters feel very flat in the main game. They have neither growth nor backstory. Honestly, I empathize more with the villains than our characters. There are also some homage scenes that aren’t clear to me if they add anything or just there for the sake of being an homage. But all in all, it’s a fun game. Like if you pick it up, I think you’ll probably have a good time and finish the game because it’s just really an engaging game even though I personally don’t have a strong feeling about it. I don't recommend against it, but I don't think it's a must-play either.
