About
ScrapBots is a first-person melee brawler developed by a team of nine undergraduate game development students at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). Designed as our capstone project, our goal was to show off our strengths while learning and growing as game designers in the process.
ScrapBots is set on an abandoned junk planet inhabited by ruthless robots tearing each other apart. The player takes control of a robot named Junk Dog, a hermit on a quest to defeat the leader of the most powerful faction in the wasteland. Use junk dogs’ unique function of interchangeable arms and other combat capabilities to help survive the savage bots of the wasteland.
Fast First-Person Combat: Use both fists to box other bots into scrap. Take their left-over arms to fuel Junk dog’s rampage across the wasteland.
Interchangeable Arms: Equip a variety of arms from Junk dog’s defeated enemies, each with unique punches and stats. Mix arms to find the best play style for the situation.
Environmental Traps: Scattered across the wasteland are dangerous traps junk dog can leverage to speed up his killing.
Movement abilities: Dash around the enemy to stay in the fight longer and help get across the wasteland terrain.
Will you scrap your enemies or become scrap yourself?

I love the platforming, game looks decent,I used steam input for controller support and it worked flawlessly. I think you guys did good.

Solid premise, just wound up dropping it myself because I could feel it was going to be short and I was looking for something to sink more time into when I take the time to play.
while it could use a little refinement it actually seem like it could be a promising roguelite thought would likely need a heftier selection of arm types
Great game. Reminded me of the old game Metal Arms: Glitch in the system.
Pretty fun game. Main mechanics felt very good, from the arm swap to the b-hopping. I very much liked that the game would slow down during arm swaps, allowing for fluidity during ganks or boss fights. It comes with a level of polish you would expect from a student project, so there is definitely some jank with animations and performance, BUT I think the visual direction that game takes is pretty nice. Love the final area. Final boss is either very squishy or the arm cannons are cracked. Overall, 100% worth the hour or so most will get out of this. Or more if you wanna speedrun, which I think would be interesting. Core of the game is good fun!
This would make a for a really good speed-running game. The movement has some fun quirks that can be abused to get super fast >:) I really enjoyed the movement and the art style of the game.
Those clankers never stood a chance
