Ads galore I thought this would be great to play. At least against the computer since you can’t play with your kids, spouse (one on one). Unless you do the fb thing. There’s an ad after almost every word. Some ads never end and you have to close the app and reopen in order to play again. The ads eat away your battery and heats up your device. And the computer cheats. ( it gets an 8 in score and gives itself 20) and only gets worse. I know how to play scrabble

Too many ads! I really want to love this game but the amount of ads is ridiculous unless you pay for their subscription service! There’s an ad after EVERY play you make.

Fun Game but Abysmal “Customer Support” I have played scrabble Go for over 5 years. I like the actual game because I love words and I love the mental challenge that it provides. While the game is fun, it is costly to purchase gems, arena tickets, etc. Those things are voluntary, but when you want to play for longer bouts of time and utilize all that the app offers, you will want to purchase these things to be able to keep playing. The game sometimes glitches in the worst ways - things like suddenly not allowing you to finish an arena game that you have been playing competitively and have been in first place, and things like not getting the color card that was promised in the pack of cards you earned (not getting a yellow card from a yellow pack earned.) With an app that provided quality, reasonable customer service? These types of things would not be a big deal at all and I would rate this app 5 stars. I am rating it 2 stars, however, because with these little glitches that happened along the way? I was met with abysmal customer service each and every time. In all the years I have played, I have only actually taken the time to contact them on 3 different occasions, because it takes FOREVER to work with the customer support system to gain support and reasonable solutions to the problems that occurred. The latest time I tried to get help took an hour and 20 minutes. Yes. 1 hour and 20 minutes. They offered the very bare minimum and to get that tiny amount of support? It is like pulling teeth. Customer service is crucial. When a customer has only contacted support a few times over the course of over 5 years? And has only contacted them for support in situations that were egregious game malfunctions? A customer who has spent a ridiculous amount of money on their app over the course of those years? You would think that common business sense, at the very least, would lead the customer service rep to be helpful and reasonable in how they support that customer and resolve their problem. Not to mention that if a company is centered on wanting to support their subscribers, they would want to correct problems out of a desire to make their customers happy to continue using the app. I am done spending money on extra gems and tickets to play longer. There are other game apps that are also fun and challenging that I really enjoy as well, I would much prefer to support apps financially that willingly and happily provide basic, reasonable customer support. All that being said? Fun game if you love words, but know that you are taking a gamble. If the game glitches? Do not expect to get support that will even come close to resolving the problem that their game caused. Expect to be met with an hour and 20 minute wait, to feel as though they do not care about you as their customer at all, and to be given two arena game tickets despite how much you lost in the game you were playing when their app glitched. Giving quality solutions that would appease the subscriber would cost them virtually NOTHING and would probably lead the player to spend even more of their own money in the app in the long run, but the bottom line is that they just don’t care.

Can’t Escape Love the game but you get trapped by them offering you other games and you can’t get out. Ruins the game.

Best board game This game keeps me calm and it’s relaxing

Official scrabble words??? ”ruly” is an official scrabble word but when I entered it, it said it wasn’t then I proceeded to look it up on the official Scrabble website, and it said that it was one this further outraged me and then I quit the game that I was in to write this review. But on the upside, which is why I’m giving this three stars is because it connected me with my friends and family even when they weren’t over and I didn’t have a Scrabble board.

Disappointed I love to play scrabble I get that part of the club perks is no ads my biggest complaint is do you really have to have ads after every single move?? Seriously that makes it so very frustrating a much as I like to play the game I think the excessive amount of ads is crazy for those of us who want to play without being in the club

Don’t subscribe! They let you play Scrabble for free. The subscription is just to get rid of the ads, and for $8 a month, you still get ads! They keep popping up. They give you lots of stupid pop-ups and annoying features. Subscribing only gets rid of about half of them. Don't bother.
