this game is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ that it goes back to being good 10/10, my dead dog came back to life just to play this game
I was trying to buy a driving game that would be good for young kids. I hoped that this one would fit the bill. I have a G27 steering wheel and hoped that i would be able to use it with this game. No chance. It cost me the price of a pack of chewing gum. The chewing gum would have been a better choice
Let's be honest: you aren't looking at the reviews wondering whether or not this game is good. You're hoping to see some funny jokes like, "haha best game evarr it cured my canser" or whatever. But let's pretend you actually care about how the game plays. Here's what you can expect:

Frequent and crippling lag spikes. The game is not that intensive, and runs just fine when you first start it, but after a few minutes of play, the game will regularly start locking up, then play good again for a minute or two, then lock up, over and over. For this alone, the game is basically unplayable. But let's pretend that's because of my system in particular and not a technical fault of the game. You know, give the game enough rope that it can hang me with it (a slightly more enjoyable experience than actually playing it).
No tutorial, or control listings, or any other sort of assistance or customizability for the player. In fact, your sole option in the settings menu is texture quality! This is offset slightly by the fact that there aren't too many controls to worry about, because it feels a whole lot like some sort of free driving game prototype that someone downloaded and spent about an hour customizing before calling it a finished game. You can, however, turn on the turn signal and reset your bus if you get stuck or flipped.
Gameplay that falls a bit short of the gripping realism of driving a bus. And also falls short of anything resembling quality. You can slam your bus into random safes on the sidewalk to pick up money. Sure, why not. How about if you try doing a mission--first, you'll have to figure out exactly where to position your car in the fat glowing circle that indicates where you can get a mission. It certainly isn't putting your bus in the centre of it! Rather, you have to put just the tip of your bus at the very edge of the circle to be given the prompt to accept it. Or, sometimes, ten feet away from the circle entirely. Because the developer clearly didn't want to spend too much time refining any aspect of this game.
Hey, let's talk about the missions! You hit accept, and get 40 seconds to drive your load of students to their destination, which is... somewhere. For all the (probably AI generated) description boasts about the minimap, it does not seem to tell you where to go in the slightest. Sure, you can infer that the green dots are missions, and the red one is the gas pump, based purely by what you see when you drive there. But where to go to finish the actual mission? Well, there's a blue dot that leads to a transparent blue box in the world, approximately bus shaped. Surely there! But, as far as I can tell, no. I have driven to it and placed my bus within it while doing a mission, and nothing happens. The timer runs out, and I lose the mission. Is this because this isn't where I'm supposed to go? Or is it because the game simply isn't detecting me as being there, in much the same way that it can barely detect that I'm trying to accept a mission? It is impossible to say.
This game is an asset flip meant to take your money. You knew this already. You'll probably buy it for your friend as a funny joke because, haha, it's only a buck, and then they get a funny game about school buses in their game list that they'll never play! Don't bother. At least something like Bad Rats has some humanity behind it.
This game doesn't tell you how to play or what to do. No tutorial or controls GUI.
This game truly is a masterpiece. Hidden behind all of the other mainly inappropriate titles that also cost $0.49, this one is really top-tier. I think it should cost $499! The controls were so smooth, the instructions were so clear, and the missions had such clear guiding that I could figure them out (without them being too easy!) without having to look up any guides. Truly a great experience. Thanks so much for this beaut of a game!
the game you cant even drive the bus. it goes reverse only . im looking changing
life changing.
just don't. its a huge waist of hard earned money
