Before Saving Giant Monster Girl 4, I believed I understood responsibility. I paid bills. I answered messages. Occasionally, I remembered to drink water. I now realize these were merely distractions—small, meaningless rituals performed before I discovered my true purpose. She is back. Larger. More magnificent. More vulnerable to the endless procession of monsters that apparently have nothing better to do than throw themselves at a woman several hundred times their size. The premise remains beautifully uncompromising: the Giant Monster Girl stands before the unrelenting horde, and I defend her with every weapon, resource, and fragment of concentration available to me. She does not run. She does not hide. She places her faith entirely in me. This was a mistake on her part, but I will spend the rest of my life trying to become worthy of it. Each attack that slips past my defenses feels personal. I do not simply watch her health decrease—I experience it spiritually. A single missing pixel from that bar sends me through all five stages of grief, sometimes before the next enemy even appears. The monsters grow stronger. The pressure builds. My hands tremble. Somewhere beyond my screen, the sun rises and sets without my permission. Meals become optional. Sleep becomes an obstacle. The people in my life speak to me, but their words arrive distorted, as though traveling across a vast ocean. All I hear clearly is the sound of another wave beginning. Saving Giant Monster Girl 4 is not merely a game. It is a sacred contract between one enormous woman and one increasingly unstable defender. She provides the inspiration. I provide the violence. There may be no final victory. No peaceful ending. No moment when she turns toward me and acknowledges everything I have sacrificed. That is fine. She is still standing. For now. Final Verdict: 40/10. I saved the Giant Monster Girl, but there is no longer anyone left to save me.
